Good rechargeable battery that is standard AA size
Purchased these as a replacement for alkaline double A batteries with longer charge retention than NICAD rechargeable batteries. Working well so far. The hold a charge for the few months I have had them and I expect them to hold a full charge for 6 months or longer if stored in the included cas in a normal room temperature range. Easy to charge with included charger and so far have fit any device I have used them in that takes standard AA batteries.

Finally , rechargeables that actually deliver 1.5V like they claim
After trying more “miracle” rechargeable batteries than I care to admit, these Hixon lithiums are the real deal. I’ve used them in everything from my wireless keyboard to my outdoor motion lights , and they’ve held a rock-steady 1.5 volts the whole way through. No weak output, no random drops, and none of that sad “low battery” warning two days after charging like with those budget EBLs. They charge quick, hold steady, and don’t leak like those cheap alkalines that’ll ruin your gear faster than a leaky roof in spring. The included charger’s simple and solid , not fancy, but it gets the job done. I keep a rotation going: one set in use, one set charging, and I’m never hunting for batteries again. If you’re tired of buying disposables and you want something that actually performs, these are worth the investment. Pricey upfront, yeah , but they’ll pay for themselves and save your sanity in the long run.

Good batteries, but not for every application
These charge quickly and can power a Game Gear for more than 8 hours, which is longer than most alkaline batteries. They are not for every application, however. In particular, I would not recommend them for AM radios. The voltage regulator inside the batteries generates a small amount of radio interference in the AM band - enough to affect the radio they are installed in, but not enough to affect other nearby radios. They are also not the best choice for devices that draw a very high amount of power or get hot, such as high-power flashlights. I have already had two go bad from being used in a 2000 lumen LED flashlight. That flashlight draws a lot of power and produces a lot of heat, so I'm not going to fault these batteries for that or take off a star. Overall, these are a great choice for most applications, but for radios and high-power applications, Ni-MH, Ni-Cd, or Ni-Zn batteries are a better choice.

Charger OK, batteries could better
One of the four batteries failed to accept a charge. Intended use was in a handheld GPS.

Best batteries for the money
These batteries are my favorite choices durability and long lasting I would buy these again. I like buying the bundle packs for the best value for the money. I also liked the bundle packs that come with the charger. The batteries are fully charged with an hour or two.

Delivers reliable, consistent power
These batteries are being used to power a ROMI robot, an aide to programming using FRC's WPILib environment. When fully charged these batteries output 1.5 VDC, and that output remains constant until nearly fully discharged. In contrast, Ni-Mh batteries only output ~1.3 VDC when fully charged, and they decline from there until effectively exhausted at maybe 0.9 VDC. The higher output and the better consistency from Li-Ion batteries is very beneficial for this application, especially for tuning PID control loops. Varying voltages will change the robot's response, making control loop tuning frustrating. Of course, other brands of Li-Ion batteries should provide the same advantage, if of equal quality, but I cannot comment on them because I only have experience with these Hixon AA 1.5V batteries, for which I have been and remain very satisfied. I would recommend them for any use benefitting from a consistent portable voltage supply. The first buy was made in June 2021, and the latest buy (to support a 2nd ROMI) was made in Nov 2023. Both purchases consisted of 8 batteries plus charger. For both orders all batteries received charged perfectly, and to date the batteries from the earlier buy have been through over a hundred discharge/charge cycles without any failures. Hixon's charger was used exclusively. Regarding battery life, the runtime in a ROMI is maybe 1.5X the runtime provided by 1900 mAh Ni-Mh eneloop brand batteries, but with the advantage of consistent performance. One disadvantage of the Hixon charger is that it only holds 4 batteries, but with two I can now utilize both in parallel, very useful since a ROMI requires 6 batteries. Even though relatively expensive, to me, these Hixon batteries have proven their worth.

Doesn't work for Blink Outdoor 4 camera.
So I have mixed feelings on these. I needed 1.5V batteries for my Original Blink Outdoor cameras. It first worked out of box for one of my cameras, then it lasted like half the time compared to the one time use 1.5V energizer batts that were still going strong in my 2nd camera. I then notice cameras not turning on or connecting for live view and thought may be the Blink cameras themselves. Buy now I have concluded it may be the batteries causing this. Because I tried fully charged hixons on the new Blink Outdoor 4 camera and the app wouldn't add the camera. When I plugged it in with the power cable and adapter, the app updated and added the camera, live view even worked right away. Again with these Hixon batteries installed, the camera fails to start live view and sometimes would go offline. The camera doesn't ever work with them, I put provided Energizer 1.5V lithium batteries in and it loads right up. I concluded that these batteries may be a hit or miss, maybe even faulty. I have one set installed in one camera and it usually loads, another set in another that always fails loading live but is online. And a third and fourth set trying to install on the Blink Outdoor 4 that never worked. These 3rd and 4th sets were used in the two older Blink Outdoor camera previously as swaps. I wouldn't recommend these if you need 1.5V for sensitive high powered equipment. May work better for flashlights or remotes. I even bought a new set with charger for the Blink Outdoor 4 and same issues. I am definitely returning those. I'm out of luck on returning this set since I had it for more than 6 months and used and charged maybe 4 or 5x. But just now realizing the issues.

26/Nov/2024: This helped me with devices that require 1.5V to operate where rechargeable NiMH batteries only provide 1.2V and failed to operate. Now I can save buying disposable alkaline AA batteries. Keep in mind the charger is for the provided 1.5V AA lithium ion recharble batteries. DON'T use NiMH batteries with this charger or the 1.5 lithium ion batteries with NiMH charger. There is one charger available compatible with both XTAR BC8 since XTAR is another 1.5V AA batteries manufacturer which I also recommend. I will update if I got any issues with the product.
