can this be washed in the washing machine?

I have not washed them as yet but when I do I will use mesh laundry bags and not put them in the dryer. I will dry them flat.

Does the condensation leak through?

Honestly, I returned the item and bought some all white ones (same material) and mine do not leak through. These are beautiful but ultimately not what I was going for and my metal coaster holder arrived broken . But the actual fabric material looked very nice and sturdy.
