The clearance of a doughnut combined with the protection of a cone. This thing is a life saver. My post surgery cat can comfortably lay down and do almost every activity he normally would. He just takes up a little more room. Even lets him still clean his butt without letting him get his stitches. Probably not perfect for every situation but perfect for this one. Pillows are soft and flexible, and the ring is water proof which makes it easy to clean. Fantastic product will absolutely use again if I need to.

So Much Better Than a Plastic Cone! This plush flower cone worked wonderfully for my cat when she had a hot spot behind her head and later during her recovery from being spayed. She was much more comfortable in this than the hard plastic cone we received from the vet. 100% Recommended! Perfect for large cats and post-op recovery I bought this orange donut in size Large for my 1-year-old Maine Coon (a big, active cat, and it worked with 100% effectiveness. He had surgery with two separate incisions-one for cryptorchidism on his abdomen and the other for his neuter. We are almost on day six post-op, and his recovery has been flawless with zero complications. His wounds are healing cleanly and staying completely dry because the collar prevents him from reaching either incision. Compared to the rigid plastic cones from the vet that cause so much anxiety, this soft donut completely eliminated his stress. Our girl had to have surgery yesterday, and the cone at the vet was not a winner at all! She absolutely was in distress with that other cone on. We got this recovery collar on her this morning, and she is 100% more comfortable, able to eat, see around her, move, and is overall much happier! It was easy to put on and secure, is much more flexible for movement and comfort, has stayed clean through her feeding, and she looks pretty cute. It took her a second to get used to it, but she now seems so much more relaxed and exponentially more comfortable in this collar. She weighs just over 10lbs, and the medium fits great. Highly recommend!

The pumpkin is adorable, and I guess because it's soft, our feline doesn't seem to care that it's on her. She was biting her left paw, and the starting biting her right paw, and I had had enough of trying to fight with her applying bandages which she cleverly always took off. This works quite well, and it prevents her from getting to those front paws and they are healing nicely and with this, I can secure her to apply drops in her mouth with no problem. It's not as waterproof as there are stains on hers. For now, I spray a highly acidic water on it for sterilization and sanitation. But may have to order another one, when this one is in the wash. It is super soft and she seems to love to sleep with it. It seems she is so comfy as her little head rests on the soft cushions. She says, 5 PAW rating, I say 4.5 star - cos of the not total waterproofness. But It works great and I achieved what I wanted to do. She sleeps curled up, and it's like her pillow. it's so cute to see that. No pics sleeping -unfortunately. XS size for her. Easy to secure, cozy fluffly-ness /perfect sizing. Recommend for small dogs as well.

This is great! I just got my kitty spayed and the ecollar was really stressing her out, she was thrashing around trying to get it off and was just totally miserable so I thought I’d explore some other options. We tried those surgery cat suits and while she was less stressed than with the cone, and it is a good alternative, I could tell she was still really uncomfortable and wasn’t comfortable using the litter box in it so we had a little accident. The flower is great because it doesn’t go around her face and get in the way of her whiskers, she’s able to eat and drink with no problems, I haven’t had the problem of it getting wet but if it did it would be easy to clean. Since it’s squishy she’s still able to fit through smaller spaces with no problems and when she tries to get it off it just spins around. When she tries to get to her sutures it perfectly covers her tummy so she can’t access it, I will say she can still reach her back and front paws if that’s something to consider for your kitty but otherwise she’s gotten pretty used to having it on and tolerates it much more than other things I’ve tried. Plus it makes a great pillow for a nap! Overall I think it was 100% worth buying, it’s functional, cute, and comfortable.

Got my two 4 month old kitties spayed and neutered the day before they arrived, really needed something to prevent them from licking their incision wounds. I ordered multiple things to try to help them but these were the first to come. This came a day later than I needed but that isn’t the fault of the product at all. I just received them and after wearing the cone collar for the entire time the day prior, and trying out the 0-3 month old onesies, which they hated and made bathroom trips super difficult, these collars are so much more comfortable for them !! They’re able to eat from their food and drink from their water bowls much easier, can lay down much more comfortably, there’s more freedom of movement, makes litter box usage a lot easier and keeps them clean !! They definitely prefer these to the cones from the vet. Plus, they’re adorable !! I have four month old kittens, almost 5 months now, so they’re tiny, and the extra small option fit them perfectly. They haven’t really tried to escape them yet. Update: have had them for about a week now, still love the flowers and prefer them to everything else, but the only real downside I’ve noticed is that my cats can get them dirty pretty easily with eating and using the litter box. So they have to be washed every other day or so. I’d recommend getting two per cat so you don’t have to monitor your cat while the cones are washing!! For washing— I do a delicate wash cycle and then for drying I either let it air dry or run the dryer without heat.

BUY IT NOW - DONT DEBATE ON IT!! my cat has a skin allergy and every medication the vet gave us and the surgery onsie all failed. she kept ripping her fur out and her skin off itching. Once we got her allergy treated I finally tried this and its been on for days and shes perfectly happy! she uses the litter box, drinks and eats, hops up on the bed, goes up and down stairs, and is still purring and happy. it doesnt upset her like all the other things ive tried. Finally her injury has begun to heal because she cant reach her mouth to the wound!! genuinely such a good product, the cone and the onesie made her very stressed but in this flower she is fully relaxed!!!! She hasnt once tried to get it off! If your cat has an injury just try this first before the other options to protect their wound. its adorable, it keeps them comfy, and it stays put.

My cat was miserable after having castration surgery wearing the *cone of shame* that the vet supplied. He could not go anywhere, eat, kept bumping into walls, etc. I perused the items offered by Amazon, and ordered this collar. As soon as I received it and put it on him, not 3 minutes later, he was a changed cat. Now he could move, eat, act normally, but could not get at his stitches. It is light, easily wearable, he can get into small spaces, act like a normal kitten. Best thing, the drawstring to hold it around their neck is adjustable and keeps the cone / collar on. Honestly, I tried 2 other items before this one, and they did not work at all, but this one is fantastic. And to top it off, when his brother goes in for his operation, I can re-use it again. Highly recommend this product, it will make your cat or dog happy after their surgery and you don't want them getting at their stitches *down there*

This thing is a godsend! It's better than a plastic cone in every way. My baby seems sooo much more comfortable now. It's broad enough that she can't lick her body yet she can rest comfortably, she isn't bumping into things anymore, and it doesn't get dirty when she eats. It's way easier to cuddle her! Everyone should use one of these when their pet's recovering; I can't recommend it enough. I got the medium for my medium-sized cat, but the neck hole was too small so I returned it and got a large. The large fits great. It's pretty easy to slip on and off but seems really secure once it's on.

My cat was removing cone shape e collar so much time so I have to do something searched this e collar was so amazing and buyed it my cat is peacefully sleeping eating he liked so much if your refuse to wear any of e collar I suggest everyone this e collar very soft comfortable it's bit high in price but it's worth it.

My cat developed a bad abscess on her back thigh and we were given a hard plastic cone to take home for recovery. She absolutely hated it and kept hitting her wound with it. So I bought this item in a different colour from another listing in a large size. Though she met the weight, and neck requirements she's actually quite short so the large was far too big, she had trouble with stairs and getting into her litter box. I then purchased this one in a Medium and its perfect, she can now move around freely and her wound is still inaccessible, even though she's quite a long cat. I wouldn't say it's waterproof so much as water resistant, it cleans very easily, but she definitely got a few damp patches from eating and drinking. I would recommend buying two so that you always have a clean dry one available.
