[Update] No Doubt! "Silky is the World's Finest Saw!" (Outback Ed.)
Wow! I luv this saw and its (new) look! I've been having a lot of fun just cutting branches from an 80'ft felled-tree (with ease). Spring trimmings are already underway.Fwiw I also have the 240mm Gomboy, which is also great! But for branches up to 5", the Pocketboy is stiffer and cuts just as fast, plus it's easier and less bulky to carry, especially when collecting driftwood or cutting long branches that had felled for campfires, when wilderness camping.Previously, I've relied on my Bahco Laplander, which is also a great, tough, and lightweight folding saw. But there was a clear difference and advantage in cutting performance with the Pocketboy. At 8.8oz, it's 1.7oz heavier and about 1/4" shorter than the Laplander; but the Pocketboy cuts much faster with less effort, even though it mostly cuts on the pullback motion (1-way).The arbor composite (wooden resin) handle of the Outback Edition (series) just highlights its rugged looks and superior performance. The contoured-grip is very comfortable on the bare hand. Like others, I wish Silky included a more functional practical belt case (nylon/leather) for field use vs. the plastic one; but I suspect this may have to do with potential issues of rusting from saw blades(?). Otherwise, for those who faithfully take care of their blades and tools, this shouldn't be a problem.Rec'd: After cutting a while, I noticed that the handle will "stain" or darken after frequent use. While for most, this would impart a bit of character. I decided to personalize the look for my Pocketboy. I painted the relief-letterings, which are molded into the handle construction: [i.e. SiLKY, JAPAN] by using fine-tipped enamel markers in red and black colors to match its brand logo. I had to wear reading glasses to better control painting. After it dried, I applied Linseed Oil, which imparts a darker and warmer tone to wood composite; but imo it also helps resist staining from oil, grime, etc. The feel of the handle and grippy-ness doesn't change. Regardless, it looks great with or without it; but I know that this saw is mine. ;) And I don't ever expect to use another that bests it in function and performance.[Update Mar-2023] I found a sheath w/Malice-molle belt clips! At 9" tall and 3 -1/2" wide it's perfect for those who prefer to carry on their belt or attach to a (molle) pack, when out in the field. Check out the "G109370 Gerber Sheath Large Tan by Gerber Knives". (see updated photos)

Excellent saw!
I’ve used this saw several times since I purchased it for pruning shrubs and small trees. It makes easy work at removing 1-2 inch limbs. I also own the Gomboy Outback edition which is perfect for bigger jobs. Can’t beat Silky saws!

Invaluable tool
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely amazing saw. Easily make short work of branches 4+” in diameter. I use this saw a lot and the teeth are still razor sharp. I’ll be ordering the longer version however for my field work and putting the subdued version in my hunting pack. It’s too hard to find when I set it down!

Arborist and groundskeeper approved
Great saw to keep in my back pocket to cut some of the bigger limbs that I've dropped from my pole saw down to size. I convinced management to order me the larger saw and a few others as I really like theses saws! Cuts through wood quickly but still has fine enough teeth to make finish cuts with. Very nice grip as well, developing a nice patina.

The saw is great
...but why they'd put it in such a nonsense case is beyond me. The cap came off about half the times I used it until it came off and disappeared on my last outing. No crappy case, no crappy case problems I guess.

Perfect cut
Wow! This folding saw really saw perfectly. It’s compact and yet, the sawing action is smooth. Ideal for hiking or camping trip due to its compactness and did I mention that there’s a carrying case that came along with it. Just perfect.
