Kensington SoleMassager Rocking Footrest (K56155US)

This Kensington footrest is awesome! What would make it heaven, would be to make the sole massage bumps on the top rubber so that they give a little. But other than that, this product is very nice. I love it because it keeps me from crossing my legs. Also the tilt is superb. I sit at my desk and tilt it back and forward which ends up being a nice way to stimulate your calf muscles. I would recommend this product to everyone!

After a head scratching minute of looking at the instructions for assembly I finally figured it out. LOL Easy to assemble, feels great on my bare feet. It does slide a little on my floor (I have no carpeting) but it's not a big deal. If it gets to be a big deal I'll go get a swatch of something and put under it. Easily adjustable too. I'm liking this so far.

Pros:Adjustable height, several levelsPlatform reclines forward and backward: great activity for my legs during long sitting hoursSolid, not moving aroundThe bumps on the platform: good massage for the palm of the feet.Cons:Squeaky, noisyThe mechanism for the move of the platform is just bad: very thin plastic surfaces rubbing against each other. I was afraid that after a few weeks of friction they will both wear out and fall apart. It did not, yet. But still, that mechanism is just badly conceived...Conclusion: I am still using it until it falls apart.

Great quality and seems to work perfectly. I hope it will help correct the pain on my legs due sitting posture. Ill come back in 3 months and review this post.

I recently changed companies (work as a design engineer) and this office is just being setup so not all of the "extras" are in place yet compared to my previous company regarding ergonomics. Throughout most of the day I'm sitting at my desk and those in similar cases know what a huge difference a footrest makes. I ordered the SoleMassager "Exerciser" to replace the cardboard box I've been using as a footrest hoping this would work out well. The price is reflective of the quality of the product. Below is a summary of what I liked and did not like about the product:Pros:• Height and platform angle adjustment• Straightforward assembly• Lightweight but remains fairly planted on the carpet floor• Rocking feature to help keep your legs and feet in motion throughout the day• Does what it should in keeping legs elevated from the floorCons:• Noise! The slightest movement (either rocking or just moving of shoes) makes an audible creaking/knocking noise• Noted noise is amplified by the shell design of the platform• Inability to lock the angle of the platform in placeWhat can be improved:• A rubberized or similar coating on the platform surface will help dampen the noise issue• Improved rocking mechanism (material or design change) would reduce the noise while rotating the platform• Add a locking feature for the platform angle to allow the user the ability to fix the angle as desiredFinal thoughts:The plastic material is the reason for a few of my pros but it is also my main dislike for the product. I'm well aware that the cons are largely related to the price point of the product and noted improvements would increase the cost thus I feel it is priced appropriately. This may work well for a home office where bugging of co-workers is not a concern. Though it's a significant improvement over the cardboard box, I've ultimately decided to return the product and seek out a better solution.In addition to this written review I've included a video for those interested in hearing the mentioned noise. I attempted to mimic typical foot movement and wasn't too intense with the movements in order to not disturb the co-workers in the office.Hope this helps those interested in the product!

This foot rest is totally useless! Reasons as follows:1 - It slides all over on a hardwood floor when I rest my feet on it2 - it is always pivoting - there is no way to lock in a position3 - it is way too tall so my feet are not at a comfortable height.Unfortunately I am stuck with this because we were renovating our house and the box got buried and wasn't found until after the 30 day return policy. So I'm stuck with a piece of junk!

I bought three of these: one for a friend at work, one for myself at work, and one for home. I have been EXTREMELY happy with them. These have been one of the best investments. I no longer have problems with my legs aching at the end of the day because they are dangling from my chair. I would recommend these to any one looking for a good, sturdy footrest.

This review is for the 'Exercising' footrest model. I'm happy with the item because it does just what it needs to do. The unit assembles easily and the pictures are sufficient for you to figure out how to do it. It adjusts to various heights. It rocks from top to bottom if you want to stay in motion, and the bumpy texture keeps your feet from sliding off. The only downside is that the hard plastic makes noise when rocking, if you tap the bottom of the footrest against the foundation. Not a big deal in my book. It's one of the less expensive footrests. I'd recommend it for home office use.

Item does not have 5 height settings as indicated in the pictures, only 5 tilt settings. Desciption states 5 height settings and 3 tilt settings but you cannot raise or lower the height of the footrest, only adjust the tilt for 5 settings.

very good. i use it with high heels at work. i can sit at the highest height setting of my chair, foot is rested, and shoulders are comfortable. posture is so much better after using this
