This is an excellent value for a complete kit with everything I needed to modify a brand-new pair of boots. I really like that this tool kit was easy to use. I was also able to add the right color eyelets to my pink belt for an adjustment, which was a nice bonus. The punch works great. Just make sure to use it on a hard, flat surface, and it makes a clean hole without much effort. The crimping tool is also easy to use with one hand, and there's no need to apply excessive force. The biggest thing is to make sure you have the eyelet lined up and centered before crimping. Overall, I'm really happy with this kit. These are fine but not spectacular. I used them for something that involved a bungee cord and an intermediate amount of tension. They eventually fall apart and have to be replaced but they're cheap and it's easy to do so worth the price.

Easy to use all in one kit. Grommets aren't heavy duty, but great for lighter things such as corsets that you'll wear once in awhile or for the hood strings in sweatshirts

This product was just as described. The grommets were just the right size for our banners. The kit was sturdy and did a great job with no raw edges. Very affordable for what I needed it for and did not need to purchase a more expensive model, this was comparable for less. The material on the handle was efficient for gripping and didn't slide.

Ugh, Amazon deleted my draft. It was informative, but starting again from scratch seems daunting. Suffice it to say that these eyelets and the setter combined do a great job setting clean eyelets. If there is one con, it would be the bulky backside, so if you don't want that 3D effect or sharp metal poking out when you touch the eyelets, it would behoove you to grab pliers to flatten out that backside. In any other situation, I would say a perfectly round backside is the ideal here, but I'm sure that's not the typical case with grommets.

Poking a hole through each tarp piece was not ideal, so I started using my drill, which still took time, but not as bad. Be sure to read the directions! Grommet has to face the right direction or can damage the tool. This is cheap, but effective as I need it to be.

Great!! Just need a hammer and something to hit the punch onto which I had. Very easy to use, would recommend.

The title says it’s good for fabric but the instructions inside say it’s not. I was wanting to use it for badges. I was tempted to return it. I had a duplicate badge and thought I’d try it. Using the hole-making tool that was supplied with the kit worked well, but not by hammering it as the instructions say to do. For a badge, it worked really well to rotate the tool back and forth, applying pressure as you do, until the hole is cut. It was helpful to do this on an old magazine, where it’s easy and not a problem to cut through a little too far and not damage your table or counter. This way you can make sure you’re all the way through the badge on all sides of the hole. The tool seems fairly sharp. Putting the grommet in was really easy with the supplied tool. Glad I made this purchase.
