Very good and sterdy and can handle big and heavy scientific books too. The smaller squares dont fit grays anatomy book but the bigger one does. It is very worth it and easy to install!! May need help installing bit i didn’t need to personally

Lovely. Easy to build if you set it out and get the required tools ready. i bought 2 and found the second one easier, less than the 30 mins recommended.

Simple to assemble, good instructions. You'll need a screwdriver and hammer though. A few screw covers were missing, definitely no spare pieces. Sturdy once assembled. Mediocre quality and finish.

Really lovely little cupboard. Good for toddler room as its sturdy and very stable. It can store books on top as well as kids toys, bits and bobs in the cubbyholes. Easy to set up, I did it on my own in about 45 minutes, there are some white round stickers to cover the screws, they’re a little pointless as they don’t really stay on and they don’t look that nice, but others for a toddler room it doesn’t really matter. Good value for money.

Brought this bookcase as a shoe display, fully fulfilled this purpose, looks lovely and takes up hardly any room. Instructions were easy to follow, all hardware was included and construction only took 20mins by myself. It seems fairly stable but none of the items on it are heavy so this helps. Perfect for what I wanted and can be repurposed if I want to display other items. Really happy, thank you.

We’ve purchased two of these bookcases to go side by side along with a corner case from the same company. Its intended purpose is for some of our daughter’s books and a few toys in her room. We chose cheap and hopefully cheerful rather than solid furniture as the nice things we had prior to kids, are no longer nice. You know what I mean. So at time of purchase £28.68 for the square shelves. Which is a pretty accurate reflection of the quality. It’s of course flat packed and made of painted chip board. Took about 20 minutes for each box. Pretty straight forward, could be done without directions. In the box comes all the pieces, only the correct number of fixings, no spares, and a little plastic clamp to hold and line up the nails for the back of the shelf. I recommend actually using that as I had a nail go a little too far in and split some of the chipboard away in one of the corners, as seen in photo. The case is screwed together and the screws don’t sit perfectly flush and white stickers have been provided to place over the screw head. Each piece is labelled with a sticker, I do wish it wasn’t on the painted edges as it’s easy to dent. For being so cheap it does seem to remain square without any flex, I just wouldn’t say it was strong enough to hold much weight. 10lbs seems generous in my opinion. The corner shelf at time of purchase was £38.39, which is overpriced in my opinion, but when added all together and divided by 3 it seemed not a bad investment. This took about 20 minutes as well because I did start to follow the directions and halfway through realised they were inaccurate. The picture directions show the fixings to be on the inside of the shelf so you would see them once built rather than just flipping the boards around and they being hidden against the wall. You can see what I mean in the photos I’m satisfied but not impressed. I will likely cut an MDF top and paint it the colour of my daughters choosing just to tie all 3 shelves together. The square and corner shelf don’t seem to look like they go together despite ordering from the same company and same listing in fact

In my experience this unit seems to have been well crafted, but I'm unsure about a number of features of its construction. Primarily, all of the components are made from 12mm panels, which reduces the strength, though in many ways it seems reasonably sturdy. Construction is straightforward, but not simple, because all the shelves are secured by screwing into the end grain using chipboard screws - which can easily be misdirected and that means they can poke out of the side of the components if you do not take the greatest of care. This only happened once in my case, but I was taking great care. The shelves have added strength due to additional dowels, but perhaps this is why the instructions end with a diagram highlighting a maximum weight of 15 pounds on each shelf (NB: pounds, not kg). It should be noted that the unit is built in two sections which are then fastened together (as though the top section is an add-on to what was previously a unit with two less shelves). It does not spoil the look of the unit, but does it reduce its strength? What surprised me the most was that there was no anti-topple device included, so you would have to make your own arrangements for the safety of children because this is a small-footprint, relatively tall unit. There was some superficial surface scratching on the panels which was only noticeable very close up, which may have been caused in the factory or in transit, but otherwise the package was adequate and well protected. I purchased for £37.99 in an offer and I was mildly disappointed by what I received. If I had paid the current offer price of £48.99 I would have been more disappointed. It's unusual to find a bookcase to fit into a small space such as this does, so from that perspective for me it's a find, but I could only very cautiously recommend it.

Super light weight and just as pictured. Easy to assemble as well. The rounded corners give it a nice look and is honestly the perfect little corner size space saver for your things. I bought mine on sale - would recommend the same.

A little shorter than I expected (that's on me, I didn't read the description right) but it's nicely sized. Fits all of our video games and is sturdy enough that it's also a plant stand. Despite the utter joy my inchplant has found from it's new home and prolific growth requiring a new, much larger pot, this bookshelf has remained sturdy in the face of a purple plant onslaught.
