Q: On the bottom of the bottle a tiny sticker: 21207. Is it the expire date? If it is the date of manufacture how long does it last unopened?

I do not know if that is the date or not. It looks suspiciously like a date doesn’t it? If you’re testing for nitrifying bacteria, get a bottle of test strips, and you can put it in there to determine if there are nicer my nitrifying bacteria in there

Q: How much should I use for a 7.5 gallon tank?

You can use some or all of the product in your 7 1/2 gallon tank. You cannot put too much in it. if you put in just a little, the nitrifying bacteria will multiply to fill the space. If you put in the whole bottle, some of the bacteria will die off. A 7 1/2 gallon tank will have a constantly changing pH factor. you must try and keep your pH neutral and constant. that’s the important part. In order to grow your colony of nitrifying bacteria, you must feed them with the waste products from the fish.

Q: Is it safe for use while fish are in the aquarium?

I have used it this way and all the fish were fine.. I don't still have the bottle but I think it said right on the directions that it was ok to add to a populated aquarium.

Q: Can this be used in a saptwater aquarium.

No. Freshwater and saltwater have different bacterias living in them. I believe they one for salt water. Your best bet is to get some live rock from a fish store and let that cycle the tank. Good luck.
