I'm leaving for Spain in a few days, and wanted a special journal for my travels. This item is great: it's padded, the stitching is well done, there IS a pen loop; like another reviewer, I'm not sure the credit/bank card holders and windowed ID holder are necessary, but those are ok. I like how it lays flat without being a spiral notebook, and its brown ribbon placeholder. The pages are blank except for horizontal lines (think "college ruled"). This would make a lovely gift for someone of any age/gender, especially with the cover's world map motif. I'm just a bit confused with its mention of a magnetic clasp....

This notebook/journal is great. It arrived earlier than originally anticipated. The cover provides a very nice alternative material for those in search of a cover which is not leather, with a really stylish design and sleek look. The pages provide plenty of lines space for writing without concern of running low on space.The journal also provides an opportunity to refill with additional writing paper (sold separately) if you would like consistency for the style of paper and without having to purchase another journal separately. Lastly, the journal provides a nice "slide/fastener" to keep your journal closed and private. Great product for a value price, would recommend.

This will be a gift but did open it to check out. It is really nice quality- no not real leather but a pleather which is very nice, padded & slip for closure. There are some slots for credit cards ( why that is necessary I’m not sure) & a slot for a wallet photo. Also a loop for a pen & a ribbon to mark your place. It is refillable & the pages lined. For the price it is nice for gifts or even yourself, looks good! Would buy again.

It’s very nice looking. It’s small enough to fit in my purse. I’m just used to rigid, black journals.!

This was bought as a gift for a very dear friend of mine. It came really fast and it looks great. Very cool and something I would like to receive myself. I was really pleased with the quality and the price. I would absolutely buy again

Very nice cover! Quality of paper inside will not hold up if you dont want to purchase refill. I would love to replace 5 by 8 refill with much better quality paper and buy all new covers for each new journal. The value of the Journal for me is to have your original writings on excellent quality paper. Any help with better quality paper?

I love the cover, and how it can be reusable.Very nice over all. Going to be useful for taking writing notes.
