Our Fine mesh media bags have a 450 micron rating. Our Extra Fine bags are at 150 microns.

How do these bags close?

These bags have a tight drawstring closure. When tied correctly, the bags will not leak or spill into your aquarium.

Will the Fine mesh media bag hold Purigen?

In some bottles of Purigen, there can be very tiny resin balls. To ensure all the resin stays in the media bag, we recommend you use our Extra Fine media bags.

Will this work in my filter?

Our bags will fit almost any size and shape filter. We have several sizes to fit whichever filter you are using.

Perfect for Drinkwell pet fountains

I’ve been using the 3”x4” fine mesh bags in my Petsafe Drinkwell fountain as a replacement for the stock filters. When filled about half full with activated carbon or carbon/zeolite, they fit perfectly inside the filter housing and keep the water clean for about two weeks. They have held up well and clean up easily for reuse. Would buy again.

These media bags are great. Quality is A+. No you can't use them with GFO but you can use them with phosguard and small particle carbon. Can't bet the price for an 8 pack, I'll be buying more of these when needed. Also buy their filter socks they have a great price for the quality of them.
