Such a great price compared to what's available locally. it definitely has milk thistle in it it turns white when you put it in water. I don't know anything about gallbladders but I do know that after I started using this and cut back on fat simultaneously my gallbladder pain went away.

I bought for my mom, 92yo, complaining about stomach aches after every meal. I researched and everything seems to be like gal blather, we tried. I have been overweight for 6 years and have been eating kale and vegetable broth. It has been beyond frustrating. I gained weight thru a very stressful time at a past job and could not get it off no matter the calorie restrictions and exercise. I took out processed foods, wheat, salt, added sugar, carbs, dairy, transfat and saturated fats - typically what I do is eat clean foods - the real deal - like fresh vegetables, tofu, miso soup, apple cider vinegar, lots of fresh garlic and ginger and protein shakes. Usually I stop coffee but it is good for the liver so I kept it in:) I like the taste and feel like everyone can use a liver cleanse even those of us that do not consume alcohol. It was more satisfying and I slowly bring foods back in over 6 weeks. I took the cleanse 2x day. This product is amazing if you suffer from gallbladder inflammation or gallstones. I take this on an empty stomach and I'm pain free. I will say though, that this product works best if you're already eating clean (mostly raw foods), I feel that the herbs dig deeper when eating high alkaline foods (fruits and veg). I definitely recommend this to anyone who has liver/gallbladder issues. This tincture combined with a good healthy diet will have you on your way to better health.

...which is a known liver poison. HerbPharm has a great rep so I'm sure the herbs contained within are fantastic, but the alcohol taste and sweetness are so pronounced that my liver cringes everytime I attempt to 'heal' it with this poison (over 50% alcohol alone not to mention the concentrated sweetener). Next time I'm looking for alcohol free or going with capsules. 4oz is a big commitment! Recommend you go with the 1oz first to make sure it works for you.
