Espresso Ground Coffee – Café La Carreta Cuban Coffee, 10 oz Bag – Miami’s Famous Cuban Espresso Since 1976

I’ve been obsessed with Chamberlain Fancy Mouse coffee for 5 years now without the possibility of finding a MM alternative or even better until now, my dad brought me this coffee from his trip to Miami where he met with the owners of La Carreta and let me tell you that when I say this is by far the best coffee I’ve had in a long time, IT IS AMAZING and the price is ridiculously affordable. PLEASE don’t change anything about this coffee!!! Smells amazing. Super smooth. Very strong. And very dark. All attributes that I seek in a perfect cup of expresso to make my latte.

La Carreta is a great restaurant in Miami airport with great coffee!

Café Carreta is absolutely delicious. It smells amazing, looks as good as it tastes, and makes a rich, smooth espresso. I’ve tried more expensive espresso coffees, and I still keep coming back to this one. It may not be the most expensive brand, but it is the best. That’s why I keep it on subscription and get nervous when I’m down to my last pack.

I’ve ordered this coffee numerous times. Unfortunately I’ve received missing quantities and in some cases, they were not vacuum sealed and in a few occasions, broken and coffee spilled all inside the packaging. They should arrive as”little bricks “. I think it’s mostly the carriers throwing these around. Last package both were loose not tight(perhaps a small puncture). Other than that, the product itself is a solid 5. Great for ‘real’ espresso machines if the correct filter.

Finely ground, great taste

There’s a lot of Cuban coffee/expresso brands out there. Bustelo, La Llave, & Pilón; but this Carreta coffee is something special. The Carreta (for those not in South Florida) is a Cuban Style restaurant founded in Miami,FL and they have an exterior walk up window attached to the restaurants. People go to it for their Cuban coffee fixes. Now you can make it at home anytime. Nothing beats the walk up window for a freshly made Cuban coffee/cafe in a glass tasita - this is the next best thing! Strongly urge you to try it!

I have ordered La Carreta Espresso Coffee from Amazon previously and was completely satisfied but... This time what arrived was not as pictured, the packaging was BROWN not the normal BLUE (see the picture). My wife is the barista around the house and after opening the first vacuum bag she said this is not quite right. She said that the other La Carreta grounds we had were much darker, almost black and you could smell the aroma of coffee. These grounds are brown, see the picture. I figured it was the same coffee in a different package but it is not the same. I travel through Miami International Airport often and stock up on a few packages of the blue packages of La Carreta Espresso at the La Carreta, right there by gate 34 I believe. I haven't been there in a few months and my wife was lamenting that she sure wished I would go to Miami - for coffee !! I ordered a 3 pack from Ebay that is coming from Miami. I hope that it will the the "Real Deal". The upside is that Amazon asked very few questions and gave me a full review. I have yet to be let down by Amazon on any purchase of return when not satisfied. Good service Amazon.
