This is great coffee. It's not too strong or bitter as some espressos are.

I’ve ordered this coffee numerous times. Unfortunately I’ve received missing quantities and in some cases, they were not vacuum sealed and in a few occasions, broken and coffee spilled all inside the packaging. They should arrive as”little bricks “. I think it’s mostly the carriers throwing these around. Last package both were loose not tight(perhaps a small puncture). Other than that, the product itself is a solid 5. Great for ‘real’ espresso machines if the correct filter.

There’s a lot of Cuban coffee/expresso brands out there. Bustelo, La Llave, & Pilón; but this Carreta coffee is something special. The Carreta (for those not in South Florida) is a Cuban Style restaurant founded in Miami,FL and they have an exterior walk up window attached to the restaurants. People go to it for their Cuban coffee fixes. Now you can make it at home anytime. Nothing beats the walk up window for a freshly made Cuban coffee/cafe in a glass tasita - this is the next best thing! Strongly urge you to try it!

I recently had the pleasure of trying this locally roasted Cuban coffee from Miami, and it was truly amazing. The rich aroma and bold flavor of this coffee instantly transported me to the iconic bustling ventanitas in Miami. Once I found out La Carreta had it's own brand of coffee, I had to buy some. It conjured up memories of growing up in Miami in one of the best eras, when it was still untainted, and stopping in late nights at La Carreta on 8th St for sandwiches and cafe con leche at midnight. Que rico. Love the bitterness, that sharp espresso bite is on point. If you've ever stood at their window and ordered a colada to go, this is it.

I waited about 4-5 days for it to arrive and I should've listened to other recent reviews because they were right. HORRIBLE taste and smell. I'm throwing all of it away.
