Will this dog barrier fit my car?

The barrier covers widths from 36.6" to 60.6". The center panel stays fixed, while the two side panels adjust by changing their overlap with the center panel to better match your cargo width. Measure your vehicle cargo width before ordering.

Will this dog car barrier stay in place while driving?

Each side panel uses 2 lock knobs—4 total—to hold the width more securely than single-lock designs and reduce panel movement. Two upgraded elastic cords anchor to the rear headrests; recheck cord tension periodically for a stable fit.

How do I install it, and do I need tools or two people?

No tools are needed; first-time setup takes about 10 minutes. Lay the 3 panels flat and join them with knobs before placing the barrier in the vehicle. One person holding a panel while another secures it makes the first fit quicker.

Will my dog be able to jump over it? Will it hold my large dog?

The center panel is 16.5" high, with 12" high side panels. It creates a clear boundary between the cargo area and passenger seats for many medium and large dogs. Highly athletic dogs may need a taller setup.

Why choose a steel wire mesh dog car barrier instead of a fabric or net barrier?

Steel wire mesh holds its shape better than fabric or net barriers that may stretch or sag. The rigid frame provides firmer, more consistent separation and helps keep the adjustable side panels securely positioned.
