This kit comes with all the supplies you need to create adorable little critters. The colors are surprisingly vivid, the needles aren't terrible quality, and the instructions are good. It is a great larger sized kit and would make a great gift for nearly any age. Overall, it's a good value.

I think this is a really fun starter kit. It has everything you need. The projects are cute (I tend to go off script a bit, but I'm happy with what I made). The instructions were pretty good, especially with the link to a YouTube video of it being made, but I wish there was actual verbal instructions about what they were doing and tips for success. Even without that it's pretty easy to get the feel for it and figure it out as you go.I wish there were one more needle handle. There's 3 sizes and two handles, and I don't like having to switch all the time, so I've gone to only using the biggest for shaping and connecting parts, and smallest for smoothing and details. The other thing that I wish was a bit better is the eyes. They're all meant to be the same size, but aren't very consistent, and not quite as big as they should be to look as cute as the pictures. I also wish they included some liquid glue you could inject into the felt to glue the whiskers in. The eyes could use some glue too if you actually want to play with them, but any would probably do as the eye would cover the glue drop. The whiskers wouldn't and they slide in and out very easily with basic handling, so I'm not sure if they're worth putting in until I find a solution.Still, a super fun kit. Would make a great gift. I love that they include finger protectors. Good amount of wool and projects for the price. I am quite happy with it overall, and now I'm hooked on felting! 🙂Edit: after comparing to other kits, other wool, other eyes, I'm more impressed with this kit. No, it didn't fulfill all my dreams, but it's a great deal, and probably the best you're going to find. I would recommend you get this one

So cute, more than enough roving to do every project and then some. I used this kit to introduce my mom to needle felting. The instructions are pretty straight forward and even noted when you should swap needles throughout the project which was great. I think this was a really good purchase for the price

I feel like this kit does come with everything you need to get started. Tried to use the handle and the needle kept slipping down. Instructions were a bit lacking for me, as someone that’s never felted before prior.

I decided to try needle felting after reading a novel titled What You Are Looking for is in the Library. One of the main characters did needle felting, and it was the first time I’d even heard of it!I was surprised to discover how easy it actually is. Getting started can be a little awkward, when you just have a loose ball of the wool, but once you start using the felting needle, it starts to take shape quickly.The smaller elements (ears, noses, feet) were more challenging than the larger bodies, but it was pretty easy to pick up. I also tried another kit I bought elsewhere, and have to say the needle and especially the pillow-like pad from this kit were much higher quality.

The contents of the kit are nice, but the instructions are not very useful. It includes no “basic” instructions on how to start or how to actually felt. The scan code brings you to a video with no verbal instructions, just video and music, with no explanation. Plan to watch an independent video or read instructions elsewhere to actually learn how to felt. Be aware that each project is tiny!

The media could not be loaded. Great little kit, gave us everything to get started and was easy to use. We had never needlessly felted before and we made these on a craft night we hosted for friends.
