Helped my car not tear through the couch. In hindsight I should have purchased one for each corner. My cat seems to like it, and it’s held on really well.

Finally my cat stopped scratching the arm of my chair.

This came and wouldn't which to anything in my house. We initially started with the couches and moved to beds, then just tried to get it to stick to anything. Nothing. We eventually built a board to stick it to and it just falls off. The over all quality was poor but it was unusable. Wouldve returned if I could have.

Nothing fancy, but does the trick to protect your furniture from your kitties. Easy to install and the cat loves it.

I love the idea of this item. However, I just can't figure out a way to make it stick to the couch. I've tried push pins, staples, and velcro strips. This is only good for certain types of fabric. My couch is more of like a canvas/burlap type surface and it just will not stay on there. The velcro strips have been the closest to keep it up, but only for about a day. Then it's in the floor when I get home from work. It's hard to train a cat to use it when it won't stay in place. Again, I think the product itself is great; it just only works with certain types of fabric. That should be disclosed or they should figure out a way to install it on any surface.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with how sturdy this is is. Yes, there are velcro strips on parts of it, yes the velcro is fairly useless and can't be used to keep it in place, but it also comes with these "screw pins" that you twist through the fabric into the couch, and those have held for 2 months now, and gets a significantly amount of use from our cats, especially our large boy who doesn't know his own strength, and really pulls at it. We used it to cover a hole the cats had started digging into the side of the couch, and no, this doesn't look very fancy, but it looks better than having a giant tear/hole, and the cats have continued to just scratch on that spot, leaving the rest of the couch alone, so mission accomplished.

The cat likes and uses it. I'm surprised how well it stays put with a large cat continually tugging on it. Great idea to save your couch.

So firstly it does protect the couch while the cats scratch the corners. It does give a chic look to the couch too. Couple concerns though is that if your couch has a wooden base, you might not be able to screw those screws in to the couch, the board won’t all it. Secondly the cats will scratch periodically through out the days and they scratch hard so some of those screws (especially the top ones) will come out and they get stretched out too(looked more straight rather than a screw) . I see this as a potential hazard for the cats because they might think it’s a toy and play with it and then end up hurting themselves. Once all the screws have been stretched and taken out, I fear this won’t be as useful anymore. Maybe check somewhere else first before buying?

Tengo una banca en mi habitación y mi gatita la eligió como afilador desginado. Este protector de sillones se adhiere MUY bien y fácilmente con las tachuelas de espiral que vienen incluidas. Como puedes ver en el video, incluso respeta el contorno del mueble MUY bien. Te recomiendo seguir las costuras de tu mueble para una mejor adhesión. Trae velcro como para envolver las patas de las sillas, pero te puede funcionar también para detener el protector en lo que lo vas fijando con sus tachuelas. Mi gato de inmediato empezó a usarlos y tiene una apariencia agradable (mucho mejor que un mueble deshilachado). Las recomiendo ampliamente! Seguiremos reportando en cuanto a la durabilidad del producto, pero por ahora me parece fenomenal!
