I got a pair almost identical to these here on Amazon. The backstrap helps keep the arch and met pad in place although it is not foolproof. They are helpful with sandals or slides. If you are changing footwear I would go for a good arch support instead as these will still slide a bit. The gel pads would be a little more comfortable if they tapered at the sides. But all in all, they are comfy in a pinch. I don't recommend them foruse in athletic shoes or hikers. These are helpful for long periods of standing or slower walks.

I bought two, opened package to find a product that looks very well made, however as a small woman with slender feet I purchased a large in hopes would not be too tight, but was way too small. I opened second package and had been shipped a possible return as had broken ankle strap. I went to return and my options are drop off at ups which I cannot do as am disabled shutin, or pay $7.99 to have picked up by ups. Not worth a return balance of $3.00 for a $10.00 item. Be aware of this if purchasing. Am donating remaining undamaged product.

The right one broke within the first 5 seconds of me putting it on. I bought this product to help with my previous foot fracture pain since other products weren’t working for me. I had hopes this one would work with the ankle strap support, so I can stop wearing a foot brace with my shoes…Now, I can’t use it anymore. Extremely disappointed and frustrated that no other product has seem to help me.

These work great, not too tight, very comfortable after you get used to the gel pad in your arch, so don’t wear orthopedics with them. So comfortable, I forget I’m wearing them.

Poor material if you’re wearing a boot with Velcro. It frayed within 24 hours. It was very comfortable having the support. I will trim and try a sock on top. Now I’m buying socks on Amazon. Dealing with a broken foot
