Autan Mosquito & Insect Repellent Spray 100ml – DEET Free Formula – Up to 8 Hours Protection – Travel Essential – Suitable for Kids

This is what happens when you miss a bit! I say no more! I'm in the Dominican right now, as I write this.... Look at that! Take plenty with you and don't scrimp with it as its not worth it!

Works against my sworn enemies, the Madeiran mosquitoes!......very noxious, spray outdoors and don't breath in!

Is better then other products we’ve tried, even tho my daughter been getting some bits anyway, But is the best so far

Excellent product

Bought this for abroad holiday .value for money great stuff well worth buying

Got this to use while out camping and hiking. Liked that it was rated against horseflies and ticks as well as mosquitos so you get good all round protection. I opted for the aerosol as the spray was not available and have no regrets. Application is super easy and you get very good coverage. It goes on light and seems to last the rated time -- you notice quite quickly that mosquitos stop bothering you and stay away. The aerosol can is small and easily to carry. It did at one point during a hike lose its cap and begin to slowly dribble/spray insect repellent into my trouser pocket, but even then I can report that it left no skin irritation and did not stain my clothing so a good result despite my user error. For those interested the active bug repelling ingredient is Icardine 16.24% which is a newer chemical compound (not DEET) that has good efficacy against mosquitos, ticks etc. It is also safe on plastics and synthetic clothing. As a side note, and I have to thank my other half for this point, a small and portable aerosol spray like this also doubles up nicely as a self defence tool. I cannot speak for its efficacy in this role, but I imagine getting a face full of insect repellent is not the most pleasant thing and it will probably serve as a distraction while you get to safety.

This is EXTREMELY similar in appear to Autan ACTIVE bug spray, which is based on 15% DEET and which is what I wanted. Autan MOSQUITO & INSECT REPELLENT is 100% based on icaridin/picardin which is an alternative repellent. It does list it as DEET free, but be aware that Autan ACTIVE is the DEET version of this. Autan FAMILY CARE is also DEET based, but less sweat resistant than ACTIVE. I wish Autan could call these products something meaningful so it wasn't so ridiculously confusing!

Would be five stars but watch you don’t get it in to any cuts as it stings. Does the job though and no bites or stings despite usually being a mosquito target !

Fast delivery. I am glad I looked up this product on Amazon , I hava been paying almost twice the price at our local supermarket, IT WORKS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, VERY HAPPY!

Fonctionne bien pour éloigner les moustiques mais l'odeur à l'application est très forte, à mettre en extérieur

Efficace, ne pas appliquer à contre vent 😅
