I bought these to hang around our camp sites. I was a bit skeptical at first, due to size and being battery operated, but I hung them up and turned them on and in a matter of a minute or so, we were hearing that Zapping sound that is music to our ears when the Mosquitoes are flying around. All in all, very good bug zippers, so good infact, I ordered 3 more. I like they are rechargeable.

Not a true UV black light, but is exceptional for nightime activities. The blue light bug function does attract some bugs and does very much put them down. However a blacklight or regular light attracts 10x the amount of bugs. Even a red or green light attracts more bugs. But as far as a blue light lantern for light during fishing or camping you cannot go wrong. The focus beam is very bright and goes a good distance. The lantern function is very useful for handsfree light with the built in clip. I love this lantern!! battery life is a solid 3 nights of constant use. If your buying it to kill bugs it will, but it's more useful as a lantern to keep your nighvision, and also kill the few bugs it attracts. Absolutely love it, will buy again.

Only works for a certain amount of time then needs to be charged and needs more voltage for the flies

These are good as a flashlight. They really don't do much from a bug zapper perspective. We still got eaten up.

They are small but do a big job. We keep one in all living areas

when you pick it up the little half circle bans on both sides that are supposed to protect the inner workings, crack just from holding it with one hand. Then had it on for 4 nights outside on a patio by a lake, NOT ONE THING CAUGHT....

These do not work at all! Don't waste your money I returned them
