Would this connect to bath tap and other side connect to a shower hose ?

It depends on the type of bath tap you have. I don't have a common hot and cold tap (mixer) in my bath tub. And those taps don't have the kind of grooves it would fit on to. However, you can fix a shower hose to the side connect.

Is Lever made from plastic?

Its seems to be hard plastic as its light. Even after one year of usage, it works properly and I have had no complaints. Its a good buy.

Mine is leaking and also wobbles at the joint just below the ring section with the vertical grooves. Is this part supposed to move around? Thanks

check if the plastic washer is damaged, also if the screw is very loose , then it is possible for the tap to have an issue? there are a few parameters to go through all and see what is really wrong
