Use this on my lower side sills and front accents as well as rear placard. Looks great. Easy to use with a hot hair dryer and a sharp craft utility knife. No heat gun needed.

Alright, let me start with saying that this is my first time wrapping anything. I don’t even wrap gifts lol With that being said, I am completely amazed at how good this came out. Like, I really can’t believe I did this myself! I was very hesitant at first, but with a few DIY videos for tips.. I’m extremely happy with the outcome. The negative reviews here talk about the adhesive, the vinyl becoming brittle, the vinyl getting wrinkled, but literally all of that could of been fixed with a handy dandy heat gun. Even a hair dryer. Some tips I learned and wish I could’ve read here were: - CLEAN YOUR ITEM THROUGHLY A simple wipe down with a microfiber won’t do the trick. Isopropyl Alcohol or clay barring will remove contaminants that would affect how well the vinyl sticks. Especially towards the edge or where you come to a fold. - ALWAYS USE A LITTLE MORE FROM YOU NEED once you measure out how much you need, cut off an inch or two more. This will help when you come across wrinkles, air bubbles, or “fingers” (big long wrinkles you can’t squeegee out) the extra vinyl, make it easier to pull up on your vinyl to squeegee anything out. It also helps when you pull on your vinyl, it prevents possible tearing. Also it gives reassurance that you’ve cut enough to be able to wrap properly around your edges folds or creases. - A HEATGUN/HAIR DRYER IS YOUR BEST FRIEND Use minimal heat. It helps if you pre-heat your vinyl before applying it to your object. It will become soft and stretchy so that when you apply the vinyl not only will it stick better but it will also become flexible and take the shape of your object. (Like curves, lines, etc) also, when you’ve come to an edge, applying heat there will cause the vinyl to naturally fall over the edge and will stick better. Did your vinyl get brittle? Apply heat! Did your vinyl get wrinkled? Apply heat! Do you feel like you didn’t cut enough and won’t be able to wrap around the edge? Apply heat and stretch! - DONT BE SCARED TO PULL OR LIFT This is very durable material. But also don’t go to the extreme and over stretch. -KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HOW VINY IS BEING APPLIED If an air bubble appears where you’ve just applied vinyl, it’s easier to pull back and work the bubble out, than to finish your wrapping and seeing an air bubble you missed located dead center on your object, making you basically unwrap your object halfway to get that bubble out Because you know it’ll bother you. You can use an old credit card or gift card (wrap the edge you’ll use with electrical tape to prevent scratching) or squeegee to assure the vinyl sticks to the entire surface. This also prevents air bubbles. - DONT FORGET TO POST-HEAT Once you’ve finished wrapping, apply heat to entire area you’ve wrapped. This is just as important as prepping the area you’re about to cover. Post heating will prevent the vinyl from trying to pull back and go back to its natural form. So with post heat you’ll know your wrap won’t lift or curl back. This is best with the heat gun, a hairdryer might be too weak for this one. I hope this helps! Enjoy!

This film looks and feels great. I had difficulty getting the wrap to stick around edges of trim. I believe it was a combination of inexperience and film thickness.

This was my first experience with wrapping a car. Specificity its sun faded rear spoiler.. I went with the cheaper option, despite the reviews to stay away. I figured if I messed it up, I would be less mad about wasting money on it. The roll came undamaged, and had no defects in the black true R carbon fiber pattern. I also purchased a heat gun, and a small vinyl wrap installation kit to help ease the process. The wrap went on nice, and laid down flat using the heat gun and soft squeegee. There was some bubbles at first that I was able to work out easy. The pattern does scratch rather easy, but I was able to minimize that by being delicate. I messed up though and didn’t tuck the vinyl good enough around the edges. I definitely could have done better, but I’m glad I got the cheaper option and gained the experience. By no fault to the product I don’t expect my wrap job to last very long. Once it peels up or fades I’ll just get another vinyl wrap, possibly of better quality and do it again. Now that I have experience doing it I know what to do better the next time around.

Came out great- was not too difficult to use. I did the roof of my car and it is a 2 man job- it doesn't 'unstick' as easy as you'd think as far as positioning. Have a plan before you start and extra hands and its totally doable- I have zero experience doing this stuff and it came out great.

We have a 1965 Brunswick pool table with ball return. Needless to say, it has seen better days. We decided we wanted to give it a makeover. My hubby and I discussed it and liked the look of the carbon fiber and thought it would look sharp against the red cloth we chose instead of the standard green. We also found a red pin-striping on Amazon. For the base, we painted it basic black. However one of the unexpected benefits to the carbon fiber vinyl wrap was that it also helped hide those small cracks and defects in the plastic that time and age had put in over the years. I venture to say our baby has never looked so good!!! We highly recommend this product. It is super easy to use and very forgiving letting you adjust and reapply to get it lined up perfectly (just be careful not to over heat or you can put holes in the vinyl). We hope the pictures help you to see what a wonderful job this product helped us do in rehabbing our pool table and bringing her back to her form glory and beyond.

Vvivid deleted my review on their website so I'm posting on Amazon. I can't believe the lengths this company goes to, they can't take critical feedback. This is a review for the Premium +, not XPO. Pros: Overall, Vvivid has stepped up their game from XPO. The colors have depth and sophistication. The matte metallic's have the depth of OEM car paint because of the ghost particles. The air egress technology is a lot better than XPO as well. You can push down on air bubble and gone it goes. The Premium line up can also be wrapped over parking sensors based on other reviews. On my 328i comfort access doors, I could wrap around the door handles, and the tech would work perfectly. On XPO, this couldn't happen, not sure but this might be a Vvivid exclusive? Lastly, Vvivid's vinyl is a bit more brittle making it easier to cut after you've applied. They have Avery beat there. That's where the pro's end. Where Vvivid really loses out is in the installation. It's a horrible process. The initial tack is too strong for the installer to glass out. I found myself redoing each section that I had already covered and squeegee'ed. If you watch CK Wraps on Youtube, ( a big Vvivid endorser whose probably sponsored by them) he also has this issue. You'll see him go over again and again the same spots to get glass because the tack is so strong. I also bought a tack reducer to no avail. The tack reducer works, but you are still redoing area's you've already finished. It's a frustrating process, I haven't had this experience using Avery, 3M is a bit similar, but I don't remember the tack as strong as Vvivid's. I've also never had to use a heat gun as much as I have on Vvivid's. I had Avery Dennison car previously. It went on like a dream. Pressure sensitive adhesive and far more stretch capacity than Vvivid. VVivid's carbon fiber tore when I tried glass it out (Others have reviewed the same on this very site as well). I spent around ~$400 in total to wrap my 3 series. I regret taking down the Avery Dennison vinyl as I wasted ~ 25ft on just the hood itself. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have lots of time on your hands and don't want to pay a premium go Vvivid. They've got good colors, but you'll stress out so much on the installation. Other professional installers in my area have said the same. I'm taking my money back to Avery. Also, after deleting my review before letting me send them my order #'s was bad form and a slap in the face to a customer. I don't see why I'd buy from them again.

Update: The company was gracious enough to give me a refund I'm pretty sure this was a bad roll. This wrap is NOT supposed to be sticky but getting it off the backing was insanely hard and the moment it touched my panel it was adhered. (Thi roll at least) was NOT air release. No bubbles would come out. I could not release this from the panel at all. This is not my first wrap and I cannot believe how sticky this wrap was. The texture and design is spot on though. Looks very close to the real thing just a bummer it was so stick and unuseable.

Very hard to install du to thickness, but very nice look and to the touch. Bought 2, messed up with one, gave up and didn't want to scrap the second, so payed to get the installation 🤭 but love it

Really pleased with the result. Best to use a piece to practice with on edges and non flat surfaces. Overall a fairly simple process on flat surfaces and with a bit of practice the edges can be achieved with a good result.

Made my car look new again. Kind of a b***h to install though.

Could be a little more flexible/stretchy

This roll was enough to wrap my interior trim on a f32. Only thing I would recommend is finding a role that is longer the 1ft as the center console is longer than 1ft, but two cuts of the material line up perfectly so you can work around it. Sticks very well, can be worked easily with a hairdryer, no bubbles no creasing.
