Taco Tuesday Deluxe 8-Inch 6-Wedge Electric Quesadilla Maker with Extra Stuffing Latch, Red

We’ve had this quesadilla maker for a while now and we still like it, just missed reviewing it. We always thought it would be fun to have one for when we’re in the mood for quesadillas over burritos. It works as promised. It’s easy to heat it up, build the quesadilla, and press it while heating. All these food pressers and countertop appliances say that they’re cooking. But the ingredients need to be fully cooked before filling the tortilla, so in reality, it’s just heating it all up. The only thing is that it doesn’t seal the edges together like we thought it might. So if the tortillas are too full, filling will squeeze out. It’s no biggie. We like them sparsely filled anyway. Once the quesadilla’s slid onto the plate, we just slice it with the pizza cutter. The maker puts grill lines to cut on, but is not sharp and does not cut the finished product. Afterward, it’s easy to wipe clean. We prefer makers with removable plates for cleaning, but we can get by with one gadget to wipe. The drip cup is removable, but we don’t cook sloppily enough to have anything drip in there, so we don’t have to worry about that. This maker also has a double latch for different thicknesses, so that’s nice. Overall, we’re happy with this appliance among the kitchen gadgets. We get it out whenever we’re in the mood for beef and beans and cheese to be flat as opposed to rolled. LOL!

Best little wedge maker you can get. Heats perfectly. Perfect for small Quesadillas. Don’t use sandwich cheese, it melts too fast and makes a mess, use shredded cheese.

Excellent for making tortillas & quesadillas. The plastic on the front is fragile. For the price it is worth the effort to replace. It makes great sandwiches too. Easy peazy !

The first one I got was broken out of the box. Pieces were just cracked off. I returned it and got a second one. Was in perfect shape. We used it once, everything was great. Used it a second time, and when we shut the latch to cook the quesadilla, a piece of thr front just cracked right off and now the latch won't close and we have to use an oven mitt to hold it closed while it cooks. It's cheap plastic, do not recommend. Can't return a second time cuz the return period is over. Get a different brand, not this one.

Love taco cooker, we used to use a fry pan but this item can be used anywhere there's electricity. I brought it camping, daughters apartment and a meeting in the Church. It makes everything more fun to make tacos with all the toppings. Highly recommend getting one if you love tacos, have Grandkids or need to make quick and easy meals

Advertised to be able to really fill the quesadilla but really does not offer much room.

Quesadilla makers are the best - we owned one previously for many years and just had to replace it with this one. It works great - makes perfectly crispy quesadillas. It makes mid-week dinners easy at our house!

Love this! Big enough for the large tortillas! Very happy so I bought 2.
