V6 PRO

This scanner is well worth the cost. My husband is a Mechanic and uses it daily to diagnose and repair customer vehicles. The functions are great, it has has eliminated most of the “guess work” when it comes to finding the underlying issue or issues.A few weeks ago the scanner fell from a car and the screen cracked. I emailed customer service and they responded within hours. Romondes Customer service helped resolve the problem immediately. They went above and beyond any expectations to ensure our satisfaction.Again, I’d recommend the Ancel Ob2 scanner, and Romondes customer service for anyone looking for an excellent scanner, rapid response, a great value.

Lets start off by stating that I am a professional auto technician of 36yrs. ASE master certified for 15yrs consecutive. I set up this device as per the instructions provided, (vague at best is the best way to describe them) I tried this on 6 different OBD II compliant Federal Emissions vehicles. This overpriced calculator hooked into one properly after having to manually input the vehicle information, the auto connect feature worked on none. This is a google based program and will not let you download apps off the google play store that in my case would be helpful to the function I need it for. NO GRAPHING so don't even expect that. I emailed customer service, and over 2wks (more like 3 weeks) I get a message from their so called customer support team, asking me if I plugged in the OBD II connector, and no other causes or trouble shooting information, sorry but not sorry, that was it for me, this thing is an over priced calculator. I did however get it to print the wrong information that it spit out at me, but that's the only thing that worked properly for me, now I know why Snap on scanners are so expensive, THEY WORK PROPERLY! Save yourself some time and money and stick with the cheap scanners that properly spit out OBD II codes, or take it to a reputable service center to get your systems diagnosed properly, you'll thank me later, I promise. This machine is good if you want to give it to your kids to play music on, but as far as fixing cars, its a paperweight. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, ITS JUNK.

Easy to use. The options on the home screen make it easy to get to what you want to do. I've used it to program key fobs and monitor sensor readings and have been impressed so far. The only real negative is the user's manual, it a typical very poor transition from Chinese but you can understand it, just takes a little more to understand it.

Purchased it to replace my current diagnostic tool and reprogram some keys. Works better than expected for diagnostics but wont program my keys.

I purchased this unit on the basis of some reviews here and elsewhere. Now, I've only used the unit for about 3 hours on two different vehicles; 1) 2002 Ram 2500 v8; 2) 2016 Ford C Max.Now, as it stands, I own two other well known Scan tools, a mid line SO unit, last updated in2018 & Midline Autel unit, last updated in 2017. Both units are bidirectional and have some individual test functions are considered pro units.This unit can boot up much faster on the Ford C Max unit; when compared to my SO unit, it boots up about twice as fast and runs thru a self check for codes and modules much faster and nearly 3 times faster than my older Autel unit. The free upgrades is a major plus; my SO unit upgrades I think is 700 yearly, the Autel is 400 a year. Although the Ancel V6 Pro+ cannot exactly match up with either unit in terms of individual tests, for a pro-consumer unit it does better than expected for a unit under $500 tax included.Be aware that I don't know what the support is like and you should be aware that Ancel is a fairly new company, so support and upgrades are unknown at this time. If guaranteed support and available upgrades are a must, IMHO get a scan tool from a tool truck brand or a company like Autel that has been around for a while.My Ram has a check engine light on with the code P0141, heated 02 sensor fault. I know this because both other scanners confirmed this. The Ancel unit acknowledged there was a code but couldn't read what it was. It was able to clear it, but not report what the code was.Will I return the unit, most likely not. It was a lot quicker than either of older pro scan tools and has software more update than either of my units. I plan to the unit out over next couple of weeks to see how it does.But, as I have often told others, you need more than one scan tool if you are working as a pro, even for serious weekend warriors with more than one make of vehicle this is almost a must. Other than a original factory scan tool, no single scan tool is going to match a factory unit. Something to keep in mind.

Hate when our car has the check engine light and when we buy a battery we have to program the battery module just used it to program a extra key for our 2018 Ford Explorer xlt with the push button start and it worked fine but doesn’t have the option for a 2018 explorer and I tried to to program a a key for our 18 Ford escape s trim aka bare bones as you get one it doesn’t have the option for that model year and I tried everything I could but I’m batting 500 just need our fleet to start get the money light to come on and I will have no problem getting my money back

The media could not be loaded. Takes whole night to update, after that i was able to se some of the servicesthat weren't there before. But useless. The services dont work. On a 2009 town and Country I don't let me read the keys pin to made new keys. On a 2011 dont letme reprogram 2 new and end up deleting one of the old ones and just let me program one of those old ones back. Dont waste your money.

Seleccionar el modelo incorrecto o no seleccionarlo hará que no aparezcan muchas funciones.Es una fuerte inversión pero vale la pena, el retorno de inversión por consultas avanzadas es rápido si te dedicas al diagnóstico electrónico avanzado.
