I have had the lamp for about 1yr and I am very happy with it. I actually bought two and I may buy another one to put on my night stand. On/off switch is working perfectly. A simple touch and it turns on/off. The little led that at night-time identifies the switch is also very helpful and not bothersome. There are different types of light one can choose, from "sleep" mode (yellowish like and old lamp) to "reading" mode (sill warm but but ""whiter" light - this is the one I always use on my desk). In between, there is 'study' mode that seems white light, similar to neon-light and "Relax", which has more yellow tones. for each there are several degrees of intensity (effectively they can be dimmed). I never used the 60-min shutoff feature but it seems to work. Last, but not least, the USB port is incredibly useful and working very well. I tried other lamps and this is by far the best. I would recommend this one. Hope this helps.

The ability to adjust the color and intensity of the light is very helpful for me on my computer desk. I can change it in a press or two of a button whenever I want, and the pattern of light is such that I get very little bleed up on the monitor screen. I've read the comments about breakage, but I used a similar lamp at work without trouble. It is obvious that it is not meant for the kind of handling that I used for my metal frame flourescent desk light that only adjusted 'off' or 'on'. I rarely have to adjust this LED light and when I do, I take care to avoid harsh movements. Had it for several months now with excellent results. It's a great light, just take care when moving/adjusting it.

Great light and USB port included. Great deal for value. I’ve pirchased them for college kids and for use at home. I like that there are different light options (ranging from led bright to soft white) and different brightness settings. You can also turn it off in a way that when it comes back on it is at the previous setting. The tray base is the perfect place to put your charging phone. I plan to buy more for other family members. Very pleased!

I really like this light. I especially the individual LED's. It's much brighter than another LED desk lamp that I purchased about a year ago and that one has a plastic panel that seems to dull the light. It's ok but not as good as this light. It's dimmable and has different light settings such as bright, night time and a couple of others. I don't use those and keep it on bright but I do like the fact that I can dim down the brightness. It's a good height for a desk and surprisingly casts a good arc of light on the surface. I read the enclosed literature and the one drawback is it in bold letters that you should not use the USB port to charge an I-PAD or I-POD. That's a minor inconvenience but it doesn't say if an I-PHONE can be charged using the USB port. So for now, I'm not using it to charge my I-PHONE and that is a big inconvenience to me. Other than that, this is a very good desk lamp with a great price and most likely I will be purchasing another one for my wife's puzzle desk.

Was looking for a lamp with a button on its base like they have at hotels, something for the bedroom, to replace my traditional table lamp with a shade. Saw these on Amazon and thought it would be neat to own one. They were also cheap anyways. Have to say I'm pleasantly pleased by its versatility and performance.Haven't tried the USB charger, and am a bit scared to after seeing what a similar lamp did to someone's phone, but I will try it when I'm comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Amazing lamp, I bought it in 2018 and use it literally day and night, settings are very convenient and comfortable for any type of work you need to do. I leave it on as a night lamp at night as well. There is a usb outlet I use a lot to charge my phone and headphones. Highly recommend.

After reading all I could about this RMJ Dimmable LED Desk Lamp, I thought, okay, I’ll order one, not believing for one moment it would turn out to be anything special. Was I ever wrong! I understood that it had various degrees of light, but didn’t realize this lamp has 4 settings and for each of those settings you can choose 3 different shades of brightness. So in effect, you have 12 settings! I love this lamp! How did I not know it existed before now and at such an affordable price? Thank you, Amazon, for another great product! I also want to add, I have been using the USB Port and have had no trouble with my phone. It works beautifully. Everything on this lamp works beautifully! I also love that it operates by touch. A light touch and it’s on! Another light touch and you have more light! Very sensitive to touch and I love that! This lamp is a dream come true!

Wow! Ordered lamp on Thursday and received it on Saturday. Good job. Lamp comes in very nice and simple packaging. Very easy assembly without instructions. Printed and clear product manual included. Base is very sturdy. Lamp itself is black plastic but seems sturdy enough. Works perfectly. I was looking for a bright reading lamp and opted for the RMJ based on >10 watts and < $20 price. Looks good on bedside table. I am happy and will edit review if problems occur.
