Okay, I’ve tried a few foundations over the years and hated every one of them. So I rarely wore it. I had a tinted sunscreen I liked that would blend my coloring a bit and used it for years. But it would rub off throughout the day, and now, in perimenopause, my skin is aging - more discoloration and fine lines. My go-to tinted sunscreen just wasn’t cutting it! I always thought BB Crème was for the beauty queens and makeup connoisseurs. I never looked into it because I’m not big on makeup in general. But I finally saw a video talking about how it’s perfect for a natural finish, better than a foundation, and very suitable for those of us “non-makeup” people. And now, I’m hooked! Some notes on coloring… I am pale (FP type 2) with cool pink undertones. I tried the lightest shade and it made me look ghastly white. If you aren’t Nicole Kidman, don’t bother. So I tried the medium shade. Unfortunately, it was a little too yellow and didn’t quite look right. But I still had the light color one, so I added a smidge of it to the medium color and…. Perfection! It doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup, which is huge for me. You need very little for excellent coverage and it lasts all day. It doesn’t cake into pores or fine lines, or crust around blemishes. I wish I’d tried bb crème years earlier! Another note, I recently went on Tretinoin, which has caused my face to shed like crazy (IFKYK). I looked scary. Guaranteed that regular foundation would have made it look much worse! But I can lather on a heavy layer of oil-based moisturizer and this crème will still lay nicely over it. And while I am still dry and flaky, this crème “holds” it on my face better so it’s not obvious. It’s been a lifesaver and I’m no longer embarrassed to go out in public :) Get some of this!

I’d gotten a sample of this in my Ipsy bag years ago and I’ve always wanted more. Finally found this and had to get it and I am not sorry! A very little tube but a little goes a LONG way. Start out with a dot and go from there. I totally wasted a bunch the first time I used it! It looks like skin when on, blends so seamlessly, this stuff is amazing. I’d say medium-full coverage. I am a middle-aged (ouch!) woman who is starting to see the results of sun love 😬 this is just great for my skin. Can’t recommend this enough.

A little goes a long way! Love this stuff. I put it on after all my skincare steps including sunscreen. Then I swipe this on and it can almost be used as a foundation! It evens out my skin tone, and as a result you will need less foundation. I use a lot less and it does not look caked on and thick. I also have oily skin, and this is non-greasy and yet moisturizing at the same time.
