can this be powered with 1 usb or does it need 2 usb to work?

It can be powered with a single usb 3.0 port but the passthrough connection on the keyboard would not function.

Are the colors solid or rainbo, and does each key have its own LED?

Solid, rainbow, and many many more. Each key is backlit.

Can you do something on the spacebar to make it silent like add a bushing?

You can put o-rings on each key to make them quieter.

is the wrist rest removable?

Hi, It sure is! All our keyboards with wrist rests would have it be removable. If you have any other questions, please reach out: support.corsair.com
