If you are wondering if you should buy these mics - STOP WONDERING and hit that purchase button. These mics are well built, the case is well built, and the entire mic/receiver/case kit just work great plain and simple. If you have bought cheaper mics before (like the $40 set I did), don't waste your money again - GET THESE HOLLYLAND mics/kit instead you will not be disappointed. We have used them for YouTube work now for a few months and they are SOLID, easy to use and work very well. Mics are clear (that was a big worry as we had bought cheaper mics and they were so-so sounding), and the noise cancellation works well too. The case has a battery built in so you keep that charged and the mics/receiver charges off the case when you put them back into the yellow/black case. I have not tested the distance but there are videos on YouTube of people going a football field's distance and them staying connected - most I have ever done in distance is 30' or so and they work well, stay connected and sound awesome the entire time. The kit comes with a TRRC equipped cable (if you do not know what that is look it up) as you will need this to connect to most smartphone/adapter/SLR camera/etc.. to ensure you have audio being fed into your video recording, and for the few dollars it is worth buying a few extra of these cables to have on hand (don't forget about a USB-C or a Lightning adapter if you are using Android/iPhone to record) as this does not come with either adapter.

The Hollyland Lark M1 Wireless Lavalier Microphone with Noise Cancellation is absolutely fantastic! I recently used this mic for an outdoor video shoot, and I was blown away by how well it performed. I had the receiver plugged into my camera while I was filming from a distance—probably about 350 feet away—and the sound was crystal clear. Even with some background wind noise, the built-in noise cancellation did an excellent job of filtering it out, leaving only my voice crisp and sharp. I’ve used a few other wireless mics in the past, but none of them offered such clarity from a distance. The setup was incredibly easy, and the compact design of the mic made it super comfortable to wear without being bulky. I didn’t have to worry about any signal dropouts or static either, which is a huge plus for any outdoor shoot. If you’re looking for a high-quality, easy-to-use wireless mic with excellent sound and noise cancellation, this one is definitely a winner. It’s a game-changer for anyone creating content or needing reliable audio in various environments. I also really like the case it comes with. I was skeptical at first and when I first saw the product announced, I wondered how this would compare to the Rode wireless go ii and the Tascam dr 10L that I regularly use for weddings and run and gun films. I'm pretty pleased that my first tests where I compared with the lavalier and without the lav in the rode and tascam compared to the M1 was very similar and almost indistinguishable. (still need to test in a lot more scenarios). I just held all of them about 6" in front of my mouth and they all sounded great and I'd have a hard time telling which was which. The M1 is definitely something to consider, especially given that this does not cost as much as the rode and the tascam. The size and weight of this is what attracted me to this the most. There was once a shoot, where I needed to quickly mic the subject and I placed the rode lav on her blouse. As we moved around, the weight of the rode actually shifted her blouse around making it a bit awkward and embarrassing. I know that because of the size of the M1, this would not be an issue. I love the size of this and knowing that the audio quality will not be compromised, I am confident in using this. I absolutely love the battery case, where you just need to pull out the transmitter and receiver, and they automatically turn on and connect. You just need to take them out of the case and put them on your talent and camera, and you're good to go. I do love the sleek look, but I've never been of fan of any of the brands printing their logo on their products. I get it, of course you need to get your name out there, but I don't think any filmmaker wants to have logos distracting away from the subject speaking. Same complaint for the led. I don't want a piece of gear to distract from the story. Gaffe tape will most likely be placed on them. I can't necessarily knock of points here because all similar products do the same thing. I still need to try out the noise cancellation. I also tried plugging in my iPhone, and that was pretty cool to have such a simple set up (iPhone, lightning adapter, trss to trrs patch cable, receiver, transmitter) I was impressed and made me super excited. I also gotta say, I love all of the battery case, it feels rugged enough, and it also comes with an additional case for the cables, wind screen, and the battery case to be stored in. The Tascam dr-10L will still be my go-to for weddings because I don't want to worry about wireless interference, and the rode wireless go ii for weddings have also had some weird problems here and there. I don't think this is necessarily fit for weddings on the groom and officiant during ceremony and again, wireless interference is always unpredictable, but in every other situation where you need to quickly set up audio on one to two subjects without a lavalier, like quick interviews, this will be my go to over the rode wireless go ii because of the size and convenience of it. There is still much testing to be done, and this is only my initial review, but I am optimistic that this will be a very important part of my kit.

I wanted to wait a little to write this review because I wanted to really test this thing out. To start off this this is awesome! I wanted to buy a more expensive mic to use to record some master minds and classes I was presenting in but I didn't want to spend $300 for something name branded. This pairs easily with my Sony camera and my DJI action camera (I seem to find myself using it with my action camera the most). Its simple to setup and the sound quality is clear and easy to work with in the post edit. I haven't had any issue with range, given I am not going out across a football field to record to my camera I am normally just across a room. Also I love how discreet they are, I keep getting people asking me how am I recording such clear audio when my camera is do far away. I pull back my lapel and show the tiny transmitter and they are shocked they didn't see it. I do with that it had internal recording but that is one feature you lose at this price and I accept that. I would most definitely buy this again and would suggest it to anyone looking for a good quality budget wireless mic. My only issue is the case that it came with to hold everything. I wish they would have adopted an all in one case to hold the transmitters and receiver along with all the connectors because the hard shell zipper case is cheap garbage. The zipper broke on the first day of use after I bought it. I should have reached out sooner but I figured "Hey its just the case who cares!" So after months of dealing with having to fiddle with the zipper going back and forth until the case zips up the zipper finally broke off completely and now the case wont close. Now the case is useless. I get it I paid for the mic and not the case but you have to have the zipper case to hold the cables to connect to your camera.

I purchased this for the purpose of simplifying my social media content creation. I make a few videos a week for Instagram for my small business and I also make motovlog videos for a personal YouTube channel. Running wired mics from my cameras or my external recorders was getting to be hassel. Then dealing with extra memory cards, batteries and all the cases for the equipment; I was over it. This little mic setup has worked flawlessly. I take them out of the charging case, no pairing needed, the transceiver fits on my cold shoes on my camera cages and the mic clips onto my shirt or fits into my helmet. The Audi quality is clear and crisp and I have no issues using it with my Nikon Z8, Hero 7 Black or my Android phone. I did get the android USB C cable separately but they included it free with a promo code and it works perfectly. I love that you can choose to have each mic separated into the R and L channels or at the push of a button have them record ina stereo mix. It makes recording vocals for a multi person interview an absolute breeze. Only place id like to see I provement would be the carrying case and charging case. While there is room for everything it's a tight fight and I'd love see maybe a larger case or separate compartments for the cords and wind muffs. But I'm looking for cons because they are fantastic. Highly recommend them. The support is also top notch. You can get 2 of these for the price of 1 DJI or rode setup. Great value.

According to the manufacturer, these are made for recording purposes or presentations/meetings. For those sings alone, they were great (just make sure to not confuse the 3.5 mm cables, one is for cameras when you record videos and the other is for any other aux ports). Great sound quality and the noise cancellation makes a massive difference. I bought these with a completely different purpose in mind: live music. I was testing put different wireless mics and at first avoided these for the price because I was on a tight budget and saw that it was only for recording sessions. I decided to buy them later on because I couldn't find any other options. This will work perfectly on any PA Speaker or amplifiers you have if you are a musician and need a wireless mics for voices or instruments that you can just clip on. I work as a mariachi at a casino, so there is a lot of noise and interferences from different signals, and these mics go uninterrupted, have an awesome range, and sound crisp and clear. The noise cancellation is also great when you want to avoid feedback, and it helps more that the receiver for these mics has its own independent gain/volume adjustment. It's also great that the receiver can switch between mono and stereo depending on your speaker setup that you might have or the type of recording session you are running. As a violinist and singer, these mics go well on a shirt pocket and will pick up everything very clearly while avoiding background noises. I cannot recommend enough.

I've had good luck with these mics, but any user needs to be aware of a couple of design quirks: 1. FORTUNATELY, the receiver DOES actually fit into the hot shoe flas slot of a DSLR camera. I never saw that in the description, so that was a nice surprise. Thought I was going to have to find an adapter for that and almost didn't buy the mics because of that. The PHOTO in the mic description shows the mic receiver off to the SIDE, not mounted to the camera? Why? Silly. 2. The design of the clip on the mics is dumb. Unless the person being mic'd has a shirt pocket, you have to mount the mic SIDEWAYS. WHY not have a different clip design so the mic is pointed TOWARD the speaker's mouth. If you clip the mic to their shirt collar, the mic rubs against the person's skin and creates' noise. NOT GOOD. The mic works, but the clip makes the mic look funny in the video and makes it harder to find a good spot to clip the mic to the person speaking. 3. YOU MUST connect the GREY part of the mic cable into your phone/phone adapter, otherwise you will get a VERY VERY noisy audio recording and the noise cancellation will not work. I learned this the hard way, so BE CAREFUL. It's very easy to accidentally do it backwards and since you can't monitor the audio being recorded in a phone WHILE you're recording, you may end of with unusable audio. So be careful and do a test first. I have a little written note that I keep in the mic case so I don't forget that very important detail when I'm getting set up. Otherwise, the unit seems to be solid and a good value. Just be mindful of the quirks I mentioned.

It works as described. The range is quite good. The audio is okay. It could improve on noise cancellation and picking up sound a little better. If the lapel is fasting to the left side of the color, when the head is turned right,the sound quality drops noticeably. I only wish that it came with a better USBC connection as it doesn't appear to be OTG. Overall definitely worth the money Follow up. 1 year and 3 months after use, the main receiver is not retaining a charge... so it has not been functioning. It was really good when it worked.

I am really amazed with the quality and battery life of the Hollyland Lark M1 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System. It is very easy to use. Just take out the clip on mic and receiver from the charging case and connect on the camera. You are ready to go. I have done couple of interview recording over 1 hour in total and it is very easy to use. Sound quality is amazing. I like the noise cancelling feature. It will not destroy the voice. If you are using single mic, make sure to use mono mode. Otherwise voice will come from one side when using head phone. Portability, easy to use, battery life and sound quality are the key things I really like about this mic. Highly recommend for people who has busy schedule when shooting. You can even use it with your mobile phone too. I use it with both my DSLRs and Mobile Phone. Works well with both.

These are great for field recordings and busking. Reliable and good quality. Noise reduction is very effective and the recharging is fast and efficient.

E' piccolo, arriva con il case di ricarica all'interno di un altro case dove riporre tutti i vari cavetti, è comodo, bello da vedere, e funzionale! L'ho preso principalmente per abbinarlo con una Insta360 x3, c'è un supporto di plastica che si trova facilmente su internet da stampare con una stampante 3D per renderlo invisibile alla videocamera, che però necessiterà dell'adattatore TRS (ma quello è un problema dell'insta360, non del microfono). Se l'uso che dovete farne è questo, ve lo straconsiglio, con i dovuti accorgimenti diventa appunto invisibile agli obiettivi dell'insta360. I cavetti a corredo sono ottimi per l'insta, ma anche per lo smartphone. C'è un accessorio non incluso da acquistare a parte che consiglio, è il cavetto TRS-USBC per collegare il ricevitore direttamente allo smartphone senza usare adattatori aggiuntivi (non funziona con l'insta360 che vuole il suo proprietario). Essendo il cavetto tipo una presa cuffie con microfono ma già pronto con l'attacco per il ricevitore, funziona su tutti gli smartphone, anche quelli più limitati come il mio (oneplus 9 pro) che non accettano microfoni che funzionano direttamente con l'usb-c. Sempre con la scusa dell'uscita TRS è possibile usarlo con videocamere e fotocamere con l'omonimo ingresso, e anche con casse audio tramite un altro cavo (in questo caso mi sono autocostruito un TRS microfonico -> XLR) e funziona perfettamente. Audio molto buono, con la cancellazione del rumore diventa adatto ad ambienti rumorosi, posizionato al colletto non è sensibilissimo, usato come microfonino "a mano" invece va da dio. E' possibile anche regolare il gain dei microfoni, come anche modificare l'uscita se in mono o stereo per separare i due microfoni radio (io lo uso in mono). Entrambi i trasmettitori hanno una clip di plastica, sono piccoli e belli da vedere, a corredo c'è anche un peloso antivento "gatto morto" che si aggancia magneticamente al microfono. Il ricevitore è molto piccolo, la clip permette di fissarlo ovunque, ed è fatto in modo che si possa incastrare anche in una cold shoe (l'attacco del flash delle fotocamere) evitando l'uso di accrocchi strani per posizionarlo sulla telecamera. Costa la metà dei più blasonati Rode e DJI, che non ho provato e magari avranno una qualità audio migliore, ma proprio per il prezzo che hanno e per le funzionalità comunque ampie, direi che è un ottimo acquisto.
