I give it 4.9 Stars. pretty good bayonet, fits CMP .308 SA Garand with a little woble which is accurate, not very sharp but the point of a bayonet is the point, my blade was was bent like two degrees at the guard annoying but not an actual problem, sturdy handle sturdy scabbard, you can put the bayonet in the scabbard left and right handed and it locks tight, I realy like it, its not vintage quality but it'll get the job done if need be, you could probably run it through a couple japanese before it breaks, nice weight, comfertableish grip which isnt neaded for a war instrument but an upside nontheless, and only 40 bucks. if you have an M1 Garand or a Springfeild bolt action get it, it's woth having, and better than buying the real thing for 400 dollars.

Great product and value. Design is great and weight as expected — used for a military plaque. Functionality seemed as expected, while grip was as expected and fit was as expected.

I gave it four stars based on the fact it’s a tad out of spec and as a result will not fit flush to the gas block of my m1 . 1/4 inch gap leaves it really shaky but I never intended this to be used I wanted for aesthetic purposes only and that it’ll achieve just fine.. when it arrived it was painted with a thick coat of black I stripped it to bare metal and since it’s stainless steel steps have to be taken to get it to take blue or in my case birch wood Casey aluminum black. Add 75% vinegar 15% hydrogen peroxide and 10% salt bring to almost boiling and let the part soak for a few hours then start applying the black.. you’ll have to repeat steps multiple times carding the build up off with steel wool in between boils .. I’m very pleased with this bayonet feels sturdy takes a edge and fits the roll I intended

I really like this knife. I own a genuine M1 Garand rifle that I purchased through the Civilian Marksmanship Program supported by the U.S. Army. I was looking for an original M1 bayonet to compliment my rifle, but my wife has me on a budget. This reproduction bayonet was affordable and it works and looks great on my rifle. The fit and function is very good. I would recommend this blade to anyone who is looking for an M1 bayonet for their M1 Garand rifle.

decent quality and good price. Fit my 1903 Springfield rifle without any problems....it was a bit tight at first but eventually wore in after just a few times attaching it to the bayonet lug. The bayonet appears to be very rugged and usable. Stainless steel all the way. I was going to reblue it after sanding the black finish off and wanted to try antiquing the blade and handle but stainless steel doesn't blue.....so anyway, I left some black finish in the hard to reach areas and that gave it a pretty good aged appearance.....and I intentionally made several dings and scratches on it to help match the aged rifle appearance. I would recommend this for those who don't want to spend a small fortune. It does make the rifle look complete.....I think most people would be pretty pleased with this item. Note: the black handle panels are a pretty good attempt to replicate the original Bakelite material but these are brittle. One side of the handle broke in half with not much pressure......so be careful if you ever remove the handle grips from the bayonet.

Fits on an M1 Garand.

Well, you get what you pay for. If you order an inexpensive bayonet, you get one. Made in China, the handles are plastic. The spring to disengage the bayonet from the scabbard or your Garand didn't operate, so I disassembled the handles to see if there was an easy fix. The mechanism inside was a hand grooved pin and a rusty arm held in place by the single screw that holds the handles in place. As if that were not enough, the scabbard and hilt were rusted on arrival. There is no way on earth I'd ever put this on the M1 for fear of not being able to remove it. I suppose if all you are looking for is something that looks like an original, you could do worse for the price, but you are far better off getting something else.

Good knife, used it while camping. Nice metal sheath, a little to shinny for me, so just sprayed painted with a dull flat green paint

Pretty good replica for the money. Fits my M1 Garand fairly well but with a bit of play as the muzzle ring is a bit big for my Garand. Would be really nice if the scabbard was made of steel rather than plastic.
