Perfect tool for the job. So perfect, I bought a second one so I don't have to switch dies.

Awesome for coax connectors.
Awesome crimper set. I use these to crimp coax connectors and wire connectors. Works very well. Easy to chance out the dies for different sizes. The threads haven't wore out from changing so much. But you have to be careful when re installing the screw to not cross thread and make sure everything is lined up right.

Value for the money.
I have used this set for a little while now and I can't complain. For the money it does just fine. I have only had 1 crimp fail so far and I do believe it was the first cable I used these on so that's kind of to be expected. I have made several cables at this point in time and the crisper have not let me down. I appreciate and enjoy the fact they this comes with multiple sets. Is it as good as a more expensive set? Unsure... however what i do know is that I will not hesitate to continue using these crimpers for field repairs and regular use.

Surprised this works and takes dx attachments !
Cheap but right ?? No !!! It works and can use dx attachments. The jaws fit all lmr 400, lmr 600 213 58 ..etc etc.. I haven't found one it doesnt fit ! Case is perfect fit. Not cheapo. I was 100% surprised. U need a strong grip,same pressure as the tool from " thewireguy". Very happy and wicked surprised..lol

Where to start No documentation. I recognize that most of the people who buy this sort of tool probably know how to use them, or can figure it out. No indication as to what die fits what size cable. Labels on dies do not match pics on advert. Ratchet assembly is weak. Kinda fiddly to use, but you’ll get the hang of it. Does it work? It seems to work OK. Easy enough to use, with caveats If you’re comfortable with a tool you have to figure out, but it. If you expect to be spoonfed, this ain’t for you!

Watch out for the gorilla!
The screws holding the die in must have been tightened by a gorilla. One stripped when trying to put the correct die on that I needed for the first use. Also, the dies are not labeled and no paperwork came with to explain which die was for what. Will need to copy down from the Amazon post to know what die to use. Returning because of stripped screw.
