I needed to replace the shield that came with our AC unit that we lost in a move. It was shocking how much they were charging for the bulky plastic ones like what we had before that were a nightmare to deal with. This thing is genius. I set it up myself with minimal input from my judgemental cats, had it installed in less than 5 minutes. The reviews talking about the velco strips not sticking to the window, I didn't think it needed to be spelled out to thoroughly clean a surface before applying a sticker, but we all learn different things growing up I suppose. No draft coming through, it's secure, minimal noise coming through but it's fabric it's not going to be silent. Recommending this to everyone I know with a standing AC unit.

This is easy to set up. Run and does the job I have a room that gets easily 15 degrees hotter than house. This helps regulate to get the room to good temp. I got the Velcro window unit adapter to help get good airtight fit

SO much easier/ better than those large plastic window kits, especially for horizontally sliding windows. It took me about 5 min to prep and another 5 to install. Best thing is, at the end of summer I can leave the Velcro on and still close my window. There was one area near the bottom that the adhesive did not stick. I ended up using double sided gorilla glue tape for that area, and it has since held well through our fairly humid summer. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came with a bit of extra double sided tape for when the adhesive fails

Very easy to install and worked perfectly to fit the sliding glass door. No leaks around hose and no bugs were able to come in.

I have one of these set up in the bedroom and I just bought a second one for the livingroom. It was very easy to install and works great. It's much more effective and easier to set up than the kit that came with the air-conditioning unit.

Got this for my 3D printing ventilation setup and im quite pleased with it. Gave the Velcro some time to stick on before actually using and its staying on pretty well, though there's one bit that did come off but that was just due to poor surface prep so that on me. Its really straightforward to use, just stick it on your door frame and then put the hose through the hole and tighten it. Its winter so the air outside is quite chilly but because its made of polyester it acts like a windbreaker and I was really surprised by how little back draft came through. Overall really nice door seal, while my use case was different its no different from other and im real happy with this thing.

Ok, so everyone is saying how well it seals around the edges etc, but really how well can you expect a piece of nylon fabric to keep the heat or coldness from coming thru a permeable fabric. Even common sense would tell you, not at all. So I am going to use a piece of insulation of some kind behind it (between the fabric & outside screening), to help with that problem.

This universal window kit is a HUGE improvement over the ones that came with my portable air conditioners and way more easier to install. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the none of the strips of velcro backing lined up with the size of my window. I had to fold it a bit at the end to get it to line up. It's too bad they couldn't design it in a way so that you could put the backing on yourself to get it to match your window width exactly. The other thing I noticed is that this lets in more outside noise since it's constructed of fabric. I use it in my bedroom window which is above a busy street. The outside noise is a bit louder now versus using the plastic kit that came with my unit which helped block out more noise. It does the job, though, and I love that if I get a cooler day/night I can detach the fabric from the velcro tape to let the fresh air in, or I can simply pull down the top window. Fabric is very durable and tear proof and should last forever. Have had no issues getting my bedroom cool since using this kit.

Lo compré junto a la tela para cubrir el tubo, para aislar el calor, es fácil de instalar, ya que es bastante largo, y queda bien sujeto al tubo, estado siempre con las regletas de plástico que te vienen con el aire, y gracias a este producto y al aislamiento del tubo, se mantiene mucho más fresquita la habitación.

Fantastic product. Very easy to install,took me about 10 minutes. Unlike the usual hard window kits that never seen to fit properly and usually require some engineering to install. Fits snugly, no gaps and the strap hold the hose firmly in place. Come with enough good quality velcro for 2 installs.
