Best cube ever
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The GAN Skewb is easily one of the most impressive skewbs I’ve ever used, and after spending a good amount of time with it, I can confidently say it deserves all the hype it gets — and honestly, maybe even more. From the second you open the box, you can tell this isn’t just another puzzle. Everything about it, from the presentation to the feel in your hands, screams premium quality. Starting with the unboxing experience, GAN always does a great job, and this skewb is no exception. The packaging feels clean and well thought out, and it really sets the tone for what you’re about to use. Once you take the cube out, the first thing you notice is how light it is. It almost feels surprisingly light at first, but in a good way — like it’s designed for speed and efficiency rather than just weight. When it comes to turning, this is where the GAN Skewb really shines. The turning is unbelievably smooth right out of the box. There’s no scratchiness, no weird resistance — just clean, effortless movement. It doesn’t need a long break-in period like some other puzzles do. You can pick it up and immediately start getting great performance. The speed is also very well balanced. It’s fast enough to keep up with quick solves, but it doesn’t feel uncontrollably fast where you’re constantly overshooting your turns. That balance is something that’s really hard to get right, but GAN absolutely nailed it here. One thing that really stands out is how light the turning feels. It almost feels like the cube is moving with barely any effort at all. When you get into a flow during a solve, it honestly feels like the cube is helping you move faster. That kind of responsiveness makes a huge difference, especially when you’re trying to improve your times or just enjoy solving more. The corner cutting on this skewb is also insane. You can be noticeably off on your turns, and the cube will still correct itself without locking up. This makes the cube extremely forgiving, which is great for both beginners and more advanced solvers. If you’re turning aggressively or slightly inaccurately, the cube doesn’t punish you for it. Instead, it helps you stay in control and keep your solve going smoothly. I’ve pushed this cube pretty hard during faster solves, and it still handles everything without any issues. Lockups are basically nonexistent in normal solving. You really have to try to mess it up for it to catch. That reliability gives you a lot more confidence when solving, because you’re not worried about the cube slowing you down or ruining a good solve. The magnets are another huge highlight. They’re perfectly tuned — not too strong, not too weak. You can clearly feel them guiding each turn into place, which helps with accuracy and consistency. At the same time, they’re subtle enough that they don’t interrupt your turning flow. It’s that perfect middle ground where the magnets support your solving instead of getting in the way. Every turn snaps into place cleanly, and that makes the cube feel very stable, even at high speeds. Another thing I really appreciate is the overall feel of the cube in your hands. The frosted plastic is a great touch. Not only does it look really clean and modern, but it also provides a really nice grip. Even during longer sessions or when your hands get a little sweaty, the cube still feels secure and easy to control. The shape and size are also very comfortable, making it easy to hold and turn without any strain. The build quality is exactly what you would expect from GAN — top-tier. Everything feels solid and well-constructed. There are no loose or cheap-feeling parts, and the cube just feels durable overall. It’s clear that a lot of attention went into the design and engineering of this puzzle. Now, if I had to point out one downside, it would probably be the price. Like most GAN products, the GAN Skewb is definitely on the more expensive side compared to other skewbs on the market. That might make it a bit harder to justify if you’re just starting out or not sure how much you’ll use it. However, I honestly think that downside is completely canceled out by the performance and quality you’re getting. This isn’t just a slightly better skewb — it’s a noticeable upgrade in almost every way. The smooth turning, amazing corner cutting, perfect magnet strength, and overall premium feel make it worth every dollar if you’re serious about cubing or even just want the best experience possible. In terms of performance, this skewb is on another level. Whether you’re just learning skewb or already trying to push for really fast times, this cube can handle it. For beginners, it’s forgiving and easy to control, which helps a lot when you’re still getting used to how skewb turning works. For more advanced solvers, it offers the speed, stability, and precision needed for high-level solving and competition. It’s also just a really fun cube to use. Even when you’re not timing yourself, it feels satisfying to turn and solve. The smoothness, the magnetic feel, and the overall responsiveness make it enjoyable every single time you pick it up. Another thing worth mentioning is how consistent the cube feels over time. Some puzzles start out great but lose their feel after a while, but this one holds up really well. It keeps that smooth, fast, and controlled feel even after lots of use, which is a big plus if you’re planning to use it as your main skewb. Overall, I genuinely think this is one of the best skewbs ever made. GAN really pushed the limits with this one and showed what a skewb can truly feel like when it’s designed at the highest level. It combines speed, control, comfort, and quality in a way that’s hard to beat. If you’re even slightly interested in skewb — whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced solver — this cube is 100% worth it. It’s not just a great puzzle, it’s an amazing experience every time you use it. Without a doubt, this is a solid 5-star cube.

This magnetic skewb style cube is excellent! The stickerless design feels nice eliminates any worries about stickers peeling or fading over time. Turning is smooth, fast, and easy, with the magnets providing just the right amount of alignment support without feeling clicky or noisy. The build quality is solid and durable, making it great for both casual solving and speedcubing practice, and the size is just right and easy to handle. A big hit for my teen
Title: A Big Hit with My Cube-Obsessed Teen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My teenage son is completely obsessed with speed cubes and knows far more about them than I ever will. He’s very particular about the cubes he uses, so I was a little nervous about this purchase. Thankfully, he loves it! He says it turns smoothly, feels great in his hands, and performs exactly the way he wants it to. He’s spent countless hours solving and practicing with it. If you have a cubing enthusiast who really knows their stuff, this is definitely worth considering.

Was good until it broke
I felt like this was not sturdy enough to last and I was right. The pieces started falling off in a month. But while it lasted it was super smooth and fast.
