Great radio for tight spaces
President is a reputable brand by name, but this hand-sized radio can fit in the smallest of spaces. With many of the newer style vehicles, it is difficult to find a radio that can be installed and be useable where installed...This radio satisfies both. This is a great operating radio at an affordable price point. With a properly tuned antenna, this radio offers clear and crisp reception as well as transmission as described by others. Extremely easy to install and remove when needed. I have used CB radios since the mid 70s, and I must say this size radio shows the innovation and forward thinking of the manufacturer.

Awesome and would buy again.
The President Bill III rocks with the President New Virginia. Just did Houston to Sturgis and Sturgis to Houston trip. I was picking up over size loaders and driver 3-4 miles out clear and easy in open country. In the city 1-3 miles was easy. The over size loaders drivers and followers like that I would let them know I was about to pass them with my trailer. The truckers where nice too even though I was a 4 wheel, I would let them know I was slowing for them to pass me or I was going to pass them. It never got hot like I read other reviews maybe that was a problem with the Bill II. This unit is very small which I like for my Chevy Coloardo. It blows the Corba 19 mini out of the water in everything. It feels like a premiun build unit solid. The Corba did too but it lacks all around in power. The Bill III is easy to use and love the weather channel. One quick push of a button and your getting weather updates. That helped alot while camping. It comes with two mounts and I am using the one were you can remove it quickly. CB is not dead and very helpful when traveling. I will be buying a larger President once I get a full size truck. The price of it is well worth it and your getting a of fuction out of tinny unit.

To much greatness to list!
My search is over!!! I was in search for a feature rich CB with great performance in the smallest setup possible. At least once a year, I take a road trip of >3k miles, and CB is great for situational awareness. In particular ch19 & NOAA weather channels. While it is not as popular as it used to be, I still find great value in having one in each vehicle. This radio has AM & FM modes, & NOAA S.A.M.E. alerts. Today it went off twice due to tornado watch & flood warnings. The AM-CB TX/RX seems to be a little better than my Uniden 980SSB. On WX it picks up 3 stations as opposed to my SSB980 only finds 2. The ASC feature is nice, but with no RF gain (booooo) it stays open past S5 regardless of SNR. Overall, the ASC does have a hard time differentiating between a good signal and noise. The only 2 things I don't like is the absence of an RF gain knob & SWR readings. Drop the USB charging, and put an RF gain knob there instead. I mean who doesn't already have a gazillion USB charging ports? The only time I could see this charging port being helpful is if you mount it on something without any USB ports like a Motorcycle, buggy, or ATV. They included an awesome quick release bracket, in addition to the included traditional tilt bracket, a great option for your super fun exposed rides or easy removal for anti-theft. My first go with this radio is as a base station. 13.8VDC PSU by TekPower, LMR400 cabling by MPD Digital, and a Super Penetrator antenna. Superb results. I will be moving to to my 17' F-150 soon. I wanted to try it out first before making mounting holes all over. After learning all of the features mentioned in the manual, and an hour of testing (in which 2 WX alerts came in) I am ready to make holes, for it's next home, in my truck. I highly recommend this radio to everyone. Are there better radio out there? Yes, but you won't find the performance and features so cleverly packed into such a small CB anywhere else.

Small, light, compact, and does not take up much room in my shack
WOW! What is nice little compact/powerful CB radio. I am currently using as a CB base. It has all the necessary features I need. I don't use SSB, so this radio is just pure perfection for me. President make nice radios.

Small form factor, good radio, speaker is a little quiet
I was looking for the best small footprint radio to fit in my Tacoma's center cubby. The only issue I have with this is that the speaker is sort of "tinny" and quiet, so with highway noise it can be difficult to understand what's being said (especially those guys using echo). Features and quality are very good for this small radio. I paired with a Firestik fiberglass antenna.

It’s the President Bill II AM/FM model.
I’m a ham operator. Just put this President Bill II AM/FM radio in my Subaru Outback (this thing is tiny). I’ve got nice 2m/440 gear but wanted a CB for better situational awareness when traveling the interstates. This thing is smaller than two packs of cigarettes, but works great! The Automatic Squelch is a nice feature. I haven’t tried the FM yet. Channel 19 seems pretty quiet here, but the truckers are still there. Seems they listen more than talk compared to 40 years ago when I was a kid (my last time on CB). I got a few receptions reports using a temporary $20 Rubber Ducky magnetic-mount antenna and everyone reported great audio. I’ve got a Wilson 1000 coming later today for road trips. I’ll update this later with a photo. Btw, someone left a review here a month or two ago saying they are actually shipping the older model and that concerned me; almost didn’t place an order. That must have been a shipping error because I received the latest Bill II model.

Ordered it because of the small form factor and a couple features and was totally blown away with the performance of it. Only thing that I would have to say is that you have to be sure that you have it on AM because it's kinda hard to see what setting it's on. Radio was strangely quiet for the first few hours and then I noticed it was on FM, once I switched it over the radio came alive with chatter which kinda saved me a long wait in a traffic jam.
