If/when they work, they work!
Delivery from Amazon was quick. The local installer (Ecoplex, IE) installed and configured it after a few days with ease. Pros: 1. Easy to use: Tethered, you can use it as plug-n-play 2. App is decent enough: configuring the account, scheduling and locking the charger is easy. 3. Charging Schedules: configure time of use, as per your electricity tariff. Cons: 1. App is the main restriction. Too basic. 4. Usage data is basic. Doesn't let you setup the tariff data to generate more accurate reports—you can have only one rate for electricity. Most of the EV plans have time-of-use rates. 5. Buggy app and buggy firmware. If/when they work, they work! 6. The customer support is very slow or, most of the times, useless! Tip: disable auto software updates for the wallbox. Use the factory version for as long as you can. Disable scheduling feature. Manage the scheduling on your EV rather than the wallbox!

Developed a hardware fault within 3 years, no resolution from Wallbox or Amazon
Bought this Pulsar Max charger in June 2023. After about 2.5 years it started throwing error code 109 repeatedly — even when no car was plugged in, the unit would intermittently fault and reset itself. I went through extensive troubleshooting (factory reset, router/network checks, reinstalling the OCPP connection to my energy supplier) before confirming this was a hardware fault.. Wallbox's own support team confirmed it's a hardware problem but said their manufacturer warranty is calculated from the date the unit was dispatched to Amazon, not my actual purchase date — so by their reckoning it had "expired" despite me being well within 3 years of buying it. Amazon, meanwhile, only offer 2 years of cover on electronics and refused to help, repeatedly pointing me back to the manufacturer. I've been passed back and forth between the two with neither taking responsibility, despite this being a confirmed hardware defect on a product that should reasonably last far longer than 2-3 years given the price point. Disappointing experience all round, and I'd think twice before buying an EV charger through Amazon given how warranty claims are handled here.

Great Charger I had a few cheaper chargers and one expensive one but none are as good as this one

Does what it says on the tin
The charger is great and working as expected. One criticism would be the Bluetooth connection for the app doesn’t have the best reach, so you can’t always connect to the app if you’re sat indoors and the charger is at the front

Charger was fine when it worked for nearly 11 month. However it started having a number of error messages which grew more frequent. I am now without a charger and having spent nearly four weeks emailing Wallbox ‘customer service’ I am no further forward. They had decided it is a cable issue which they are well aware of, and apparently sending a replacement under warranty but I need to pay for an electrician to test and fix the cable. Needless to say I have been waiting three weeks for the cable and still nothing. Customer service is a joke. Doing some research I can hundreds of people with similar error code problems - so its clearly not just me. But rather than deal with it, they leave you hanging and paying a great deal more money to charge your car at public chargers. *********AVOID **********

Ensure you have spare MCB in your consumer unit...
Great EV charger, very easy to install (just make sure you have a spare MCB in your consumer unit). Very compact and easy to connect and setup. App is very simple to configure and use.

Please avoid, you have been warned!
The pulses max was purchased in March 23, noticed the charging cable getting very hot, I am a 30 years experienced Electrical Engineer, I opened the unit to find the connector and conductors charred black and the insulation melted. The customer support is the worst I have experienced, with them accusing me of “manipulating the wires” on reading some of the reviews on here, I have found others with the exact same problem, so a known issue with this lying and deceiving company trying to put the blame on me and avoiding their responsibilities. I conclude that this charger is a dangerous fire hazard and the inbuilt protection devices failed to protect me or the cable. Horrible company!

Wallbox suck
Customer service at Wallbox is appalling. They sent me email after email of tests. Never once considering it was broken and couldn't chatge my car. They expect you to jave an engineering degree and then still won't help you. They just send another email. This went on for over 12 months. Thank God Amazon have an excellent retun policy

Worked for 14 months
Purchased July 2023, it took a few months to have it installed and then by Dec 2024 it started to disconnect itself and the light would stay red. Now we have to contact Wallbox to see what we can do. Not good enough
