I have used small voice amplifiers like this in the past at work/meetings. At the end of January, 2023, I purchased this ZOWEETEK for a small cultural organization to enhance hearing for our older members during presentations....it is now early June, 2024. This unit does a good job even in a fairly large sized meeting area. It is clear sounding and easy to operate. As with any of these small amplifiers, one has to position the unit at certain times to avoid feedback noise. After a couple of times using, you will figure out the optimal placement & volume settings...it's pretty intuitive. I purchased a lavalier/lapel corded microphone and 30' of extension cable to use and this also works great as some presenters do not like using a headset microphone (wired/wireless). Right at one year of use, the wireless microphone began having issues of dropping connection and was later found to be related to the internal battery not being able to hold much of a charge. I contacted Customer Service via the company website and they immediately sent a replacement wireless microphone. There is a one year product warranty and this company delivered....I am impressed. If you are looking to purchase a voice amplifier, my recommendation is to go with this unit. This portable amplifier is just right-sized, well constructed, works as expected, easy to use, sounds good and backed up by great customer service. ***Note: I was not paid, promised or given any free products in exchange for this review.

I bought this to diminish the stress on my voice when teaching or making presentations, I have chronic laryngitis so I need to take it easy. This makes a huge difference.

This item makes it possible to lecture wearing a mask-- you need not exert the same way you would normally need to to project and the feeling of running low on oxygen is minimized by its excellent ability to give your natural voice and intonation the ability to reach all the corners of the lecture hall. Perfect in a time of COVID.

Had this now for almost 6mo. Is a bit echoing even when I lower echo settings however is louder than the other versions they sell. I use mine outside and up until Nov all has been great. As the temps drop (30 degrees F or less) it will only work for 1 hour even though it’s charged all night. I’m currently looking for something better. I would not buy this again if I knew battery would die faster in colder temps.

I gave this a bad review until I actually watched a video how to wear it. I just did a bit of yoga and stays on just fine if you wear it correctly.

Stopped working in under a year

Wireless and wired microphones can work simultaneously. The volume is louder than other portable speakers. Rechargeable battery requires no electricity for 6 hours. I will definitely buy this for my musician friends.

Worked wonderfully (but definitely too heavy to wear), then started cutting out first and then wouldn't turn on right about the 1.75-month-old mark. That is ridiculous! *The company reached out to me and after some back and forth of trying to get the product to work they sent out a replacement.
