Book came as described. Book is new with an unopened DVD included.

Horrible book. The labs were ridiculously painful since the images you process are so large. There was zero reason to use images so big to demonstrate such simple hands on exercises. It completely detracted from the learning while waiting hours for the images to be processed. The questions were also very generic and lack clarity so answering them was difficult. Secondly the book covers nothing on cryptography that is now pretty much the default on the devices this book covers. None of this will work on encrypted volumes. Book went directly into the fire pit after the class was over.

alright text. some useful information but exercises were highly repetitive and time-invasive. just like a real forensics investigation.

This is a worthless rip off. It is outdated and not a companion to the textbook (which is also outdated).

Purchased an ebook version of the website... came with no data for the actual labs.Purchasing through Amazon may be different, but I doubt it. You'll have to find a way to rip the data from somewhere else. Bit of a pain to say the least.
