Inca's Food Aji Amarillo Yellow Hot Pepper Paste - 7.5 oz

Aji de gallina is my favorite dish and I really wanted to make it myself but I couldn't find this in a local store. Tastes great and gives the stew that beautiful yellow color. I'll have to keep experimenting to see what else I can use it for.

I'm hooked. I wish I could find it locally but it's so good I submit to the humiliation of having my groceries mailed to me smh. It's hot and salty and a little smoky and bitter and goes great on everything from breakfast to dinner.

Large amount of pepper flavor with some heat

This is soo good. I have purchased several times. I use it in beans, when marinating chicken, in taco meat and all sorts of stuff. Flavorful with a little spice.

Great flavor unique to Peruvian cooking. Not particularly hot, which is fine for our family. My chicken and sauce were both fantastic!

The product arrived with the button in the center of the lid popped up, indicating that the seal on the jar had been broken and it was no longer safe to consume. The lid of the jar in fact has a note on it instructing you to reject the item if the button is popped up. It's possible this happened after it was sent, but given that other reviewers have had this problem, it seems more likely that spoiled products are being sent in the hope that consumers just won't notice.

This is good, very spicy, and earthier than I expected. I thought it might be a little "fruitier."
