What is the draw weight

Look up an arrow spine chart on google. These are 30" and 500 spine. They SHOULD be fine for 35-50lb recurve bows. I shoot a #40 recurve with no problem. They are only good for up to 40lbs on a compound bow though. A compound bow 40 - 55lbs needs a 400 spine, 55-70 needs 350 spine, etc.

How much does the tip weigh?

Measuring 3 field tips on a postal scale, it is 6 grams each which converted to grains is approximately 92.6 grains.

I just bout a brand new hunting compound bow can I shoot these straight out or the package?

Compound bows usually need shorter length shafts for better performance (around 28 inch but depends on your draw length) although these will still work fine. These are also probably a bit light spined for a compound bow. Compounds have much higher draw weight then recurve and need stiffer arrow shafts because of that.

Are these ok for hunting? Also what is the spine?

I use these for practice with an old Indian Stalker Compound Bow with a 55lbs draw weight. The tips are threaded so can be replaced with other heads, but as practice arrows they have been working excellent for me.
