But these Andwood shades, real wood, not some fake laminate, they don’t sit on me, they become me. The grain is alive, warm, smooth, and somehow lighter than air. It’s like I’m wearing nothing at all, yet the world sharpens through them, colors steady, glare gone. They don’t just rest on my face, they fuse into it, like bark to a tree, like skin to bone. Every other pair feels like an accessory, these feel like a missing limb finally reattached. I didn’t find sunglasses, I found a piece of myself I didn’t know I’d lost.
