Question 1

Do you actually lab test the coffee for mytoxins and mold

Accepted Answer

Hi Baubles,

Thank you for your question, and we appreciate your interest in Purity Coffee.

We make every decision based on health first, from our sourcing to our strict roasting protocol to packaging and shipping fresh. Our number one focus is the health of the coffee, and we are also Certified USDA Organic.

We test our coffee as it passes through each step of the supply chain, ensuring it is free from contamination. The Purity Flow Coffee is mold-free and mycotoxins-free. We have a third-party testing result on our website, and you can see the mycotoxin results for each roast.

Question 3

What is the plant based starch used to make the sachets?

Accepted Answer

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your question!

The sachets of our Purity PROTECT Organic Coffee sachets are biodegradable and made from a plant-based material called polylactic acid made from corn. It's produced by breaking down starches found in plant sources. Through this process, no plant DNA is left behind, making these hypoallergenic and allergen-free. The "glue" is the same material, just heated up to bind the tag.

Question 4

How do people with reflux issues handle this? Also how much oxalic acid is in this coffee? is it swiss water treated? Is it single origin?

Accepted Answer

Hi, Proud Mary

Thank you for your question, and we appreciate your interest in Purity Coffee.

We always recommend following any advice given by your healthcare provider in regard to issues like reflux. We have many customers that have been able to enjoy our coffees in spite of reflux complications, especially our dark roast, Ease.

Things like coffee cultivar, processing, and roast levels can impact the acidity in coffee. Our Ease is lower in acidity than any other of our coffees. Our decaf, Calm, decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Method and all of our coffees are blends of Central and South American coffees.
