NEOUZA Espresso Dosing Funnel Ring Stainless Steel Compatible with Coffee Machine Portafilter for Tamping (51mm)

I've read a few reviews saying the magnets are weak. I use this on my Profitec portafilter and, while the magnets are not super strong, I have never had the funnel fall off whilst I was using the WDT tool etc. It's weighty, feels good quality and fits the portafilter basket perfectly.

I'm getting used to overpaying for coffee equipment, so this feels like a bargain! Good, heavy stainless steel. With embedded magnets. I like that the lip sits on the outside of the basket, that's why I chose this one. Very nice. I have one in 51mm and 58mm both perfect. These aren't anodized aluminium, so they should age well and not show much damage over time.

Very nicely made and a useful addition to my setup. Yes the magnets are a little weaker than I expected or they should be but they do hold, and I can even turn the portafilter upside down and have the funnel hold in place so they can't be too bad. The small lip around the edge tends to keep this in place in any case. Since it could be improved slightly, I've given 4* instead of 5 but I'm more than happy to keep this, as it's significantly cheaper than top of the range alternatives! After all, do I really want to spend double this amount when I can actually manage to tamper without it?

Does the job perfectly, though the fit and magnetic hold is basket dependant. Solid, heavy and well made. No more mess 👍

Very weak magnet otherwise it okay

A nicely made item with a good weight to it, but sadly, does not fit the Delonghi Dedica EC685

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Affordable and heavy duty dosing ring. it has magnets so it attaches nicely to portafilter basket. Game changer for higher doses and fluffy grinds that would usually find a way to spill out of the basket. It allows needle tool to nicely whisk around and you can even tamp through the ring.

Bought to go with a Neouza sage the dual boiler Portafilter which I am using the sage basket in. This works better than I had hoped for, looks good, am very happy. A very small amount of coffee can end up on the lip of the basket, with other baskets this may not happen.

Plus cher que les anneaux en aluminium mais en vaut le prix, son poids et ses aimants assurent un maintien suffisant. En plus, contrairement aux anneaux qui ont une bordure intérieure qui dépasse, celui-ci ne creuse pas un sillon à la surface du café.

Ideal für Siebträger - der Ring ist magnetisch und sitzt fest auf. So kann der gemahlene Kaffee aus der Mühle sauber in die Siebträger gefüllt und perfekt dosiert werden. Außerdem ist der Dosierring auch noch ästhetisch ansprechend.

Dieser Dosierring ist schön verarbeitet und funktioniert gut. Er ist aus Edelstahl. Die Magnete geben dem Ring zusätzliche Stabilität, sind aber nicht so stark, dass der Ring auch kopfüber halten würde. Der größte Vorteil ist in meinen Augen aber, dass man mit einem normalen Tamper das Espressopulver tampern kann, während der Ring sich noch auf dem Siebträger befindet. Er hat also eine Durchmesser von etwas über 58 mm. Ich benutze den Ring mit zwei 58 mm Siebträgern von ECM. Auffällig hier war übrigens, dass die beiden Siebträger erstaunlicherweise unterschiedlich stark magnetisch sind. Bei dem einen Siebträger halten die Magnete etwas besser als bei dem anderen. Vermutlich ist der Eisenanteil im Sieb etwas höher als bei dem anderen. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass dieser Ring nicht so hoch ist. Das heißt, dass er inklusive Siebträger vermutlich bei wesentlich mehr Kaffeemühlen eingesetzt werden kann, ohne oben am Kaffeemehl-Auswurf anzustoßen.
