I bought the KontrolFreek FPS Freek Galaxy Black thumbsticks for my son’s Xbox controller, and he absolutely loves them. The grip feels great, and the added height (one high-rise and one mid-rise) really helps with accuracy and smoother movement in FPS games. He said aiming feels more controlled and responsive, especially in competitive matches. They snap on securely, don’t slip, and the quality feels solid. The black limited edition design also looks really sharp on the controller. If your kid (or you) plays shooters on Xbox, these are definitely worth it. Big upgrade for a small investment. Highly recommend!

I got these for my Azeron Cyborg II, and they work perfectly. Easy to use. No slippage. I like them a lot.

Control freaks are a must have for any single shooter or competitive game. It adds more precise control by making longer movements more accurate just using Pythagorean theorem you can understand that. Also, I’ve noticed that they last a pretty good amount of time, but since I have really small hands and I have to grip my controller really hard it ends up, making the rubber giveaway on the control freak sometimes. I tried to put the rubber back on using JB Weld, but I realized you needed a better glue that bonds faster rather than an exothermic reaction from the JB weld. These sticks are the absolute best option for trying to get better at any sort of game. I’ve really enjoyed this company as a whole, and I am actually asking for an interview at some point in next future for their company.

I'm sure you've read the hype, claiming these add-ons to your Xbox/PlayStation controller can make you a better, more accurate player in most FPV games. I read all the stuff, figured I would benefit from them and 2 days later FROM QUICK shipping...I'm gaming, I THINK a little better. Like, really. A foam ring and taller controllers actually did wonders. I was getting a k/d ratio of around 2.6-3.1 before the sticks. After I moved into the 4.5/6.3 range. Seriously. It made me feel the game better - and I did some fine-tuning. I'm a science guy and the literature was saying all the right things. I would often push way too hard, missing my enemy while they stopped right on me and sent me to the lobby. Installation was super easy. (Full disclosure, I play Xbox Series X and use a Wireless Razer Pro. Caps fit perfectly. I also slid the foam hula-hoop (black) to help me as much as possible. It took a few games to get used to but once I did I began to feel "it" better. I knew better how hard/soft to push on the aim stick to put my cursor on my enemies uni-brow and unload on him. I began LOVING the way the left stick held on to my finger position, too. About two weeks in, and ready to hand in a 5 star review, I began noticing specs of black all over my joystick. Basically, it was the material the caps are made of slowly pealing/rubbing off and getting everywhere. I've had this happen before with other caps but they were cheap and this was different. It was far too soon after buying (3 days ago) to began to get worse...accelerating to the point that the right stick cap (used to aim in FPV) was rubbed nearly bald/smooth. AND IT TOOK LESS THAN 3 WEEKS! I know what you're saying...how many hours a day did u play? On average, my daily play would range from 5 hours (Sat/Sun) to 2 hours. SURE....there were a couple longer sessions and...(what could now be looked at as embarrassing admission - admitting to a marathon-like 14 hour quest to knock out Forza Motorsport did happen, but I have 12 cars over level 50 and less than 1.8% of players reach that. Wooooopty Dooo! QUICKLY skipping over all that noise, my sticks were becoming unplayable. The aim stick (right) was now smooth as hell and ANY sweat or moisture and I'm slipping off. I loved these! They did what they were supposed to....and did it WELL! Humpf! Not willing to wait 2 days 4 delivery (who AM I?) I popped into the local price tag store and grabbed another exact KontrolFreek cap setup. Man was I happy. After pulling off the tops and popping them on my stick I realized how BADLY they held up. I THINK I used these for 5 weeks total and all joking aside, playing 4 hours a day for 5 weeks should not destroy this type of product. This, after all, is why I bought another identical set. 3 weeks later, we're starting to look just like the last pair. They work great...but they fall apart, slowly, and I have to clean it. Please take a look at the pics I posted so you can see what I've experienced. Now... Would I buy these again? Well...I'll look around for an affordable competitor but if I can't find one, I will be making my third purchase. You see sometimes the world has a fix for the problem you have it's just not the perfect resolution you were hoping for. These aren't perfect, but they work like hell for a solid few weeks and they're cheap. Thankfully I'm an adult with a job. I can't imagine how kids deal with this jazz! I recently switched to a Ultimate 2 from a Dualsense and my ds5 Thumb sticks were too loose so I ended up getting the Xbox version and while it was a tight fit it definitely completed the ascension to my new controller and it is a LIFESAVER in my opinion as a KBM player I somehow felt like these Thumb sticks increased my aim by as much as a 100%. It truly is the real secret to improving your aim in FPS games like COD and Fortnite

These are great after market additions to my controller. The grip is nice and works well. I love having the additional height. I've been using them a few months now and they are still working great. Seems like they are going to last.

Perfect product for any level of gaming. Provides ergonomic support that helps in short or long-term gaming sessions. One caution is understanding that they will wear out, and new ones will need to be bought over time due to losing grip

These KontrolFreeks have helped a lot in terms of playing with more comfort and ease, and having better coordination. If you value comfort and smooth movements then these KontrolFreeks will do that for you. They are good quality as well, though a little expensive, but would still recommend.
