Impressive. I've been using that ancient clear speaker wire for decades. Needed to rewire my system and I used this. I was pleasantly surprised how good this stuff is. Sometimes new stuff is better than the old.

Finishing a new below grade recreation room, bath and bedroom (1150 sq ft). Since the new area is not in drywall yet, I ran the wires for my surround sound speakers. Worked well and being 14/2, will carry all signals with no effort, not mattering what my electronics system calls for. I then used cable staples to attach the wire to studs. I purchased 4 plastic electric boxes at big box for 40 cents each, in which I terminated my speaker wires, so when the drywall is installed it will around the boxes. I can just buy blank electric box covers once the drywall is installed to close boxes to hide the wires. Behind the walls at the TV, the speaker wires feed through a 1 1/4" chase to floor level next to the fireplace. This is where my TV audio cables run producing all the magic getting to electronics. Was very cost effective VS purchasing at big box.

I love how it looks and its easy to hide. my only complaint is there isn't anywhere to place your wire when you're done using it. It kind of just unrolls. The insulation is super thick which I personally like because I wont have to worry about it rubbing through the insulation. And even though the insulation is thick it bends super easily.

I Recently purchased 13.2 surround sound amp with Bowers and Wilkins speakers spread throughout my living room. I’ve purchased expensive speaker wire from BB that wasn’t half as nice as this wire. Well shielded, easy to strip, easy to hide. I expected thin frail cheap quality wire and figured it’s for the height speakers so it’s not a big deal. I have now wired all my speakers. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this purchase warranted some nice words. I would recommend this wire and buy it again for future audio upgrades.
