I started doing hot yoga for the first time this year. I now go about 2-3 times a week to hot power yoga classes, but up until now, I've been using a cheap mat that I got on clearance at T.J. Maxx for $8. When I noticed my old mat was starting to come apart and was creating major issues with how slippery it was, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I really wanted a mat I could use without a towel to help with flow. I honestly did about 5 hours researching different yoga mats online and ended up getting this one after reading the positive reviews. I wanted an upgrade, but wasn't quite ready to invest in a $100 mat. And boy, am I glad I got this one. I've only used it twice so far, but I already notice a BIG improvement in my practice, especially in downward dog. The mat is very sticky and I don't even need to put a towel down. I will say that the mat absorbs sweat and leaves a mark, but I lay it out at home, and all of the marks are gone by morning. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it, especially for those doing hot yoga. Trust me, it's worth the upgrade.

I LOVE this mat! I did my research and was going to get a MANDUKA until I read reviews on the IUGA. I ABSOLUTELY do no slip in hot yoga. I am an instructor and use my mat daily. I wasn’t sure I liked the longer length I really don’t need it and the mat only come in one length. As it turns out I like it. It popped up on a sale so I grabbed the opportunity thinking I could always keep it for a spare. It came in under 50.00! I chose grey but it’s really more of a dark charcoal closer to black. I don’t really care but to some that’s important. The other color choices were way to bright for me. As for curling just in roll the mat press it down and it relaxes in a few minutes. Don’t be late to class and you’ll be fine😉. Like any other mat I don’t keep it on my car in the extreme heat or cold. It gives me enough cushion for Pilates and yoga I am 68 and like a little cushion under these bones. Their customer service is fantastic I emailed them concerning the mat length to see if there was another option that I had missed. Cheri responded the next day and has even followed up just checking in. They really want their customers to be satisfied. All in all no smell, good cushioning, no slip, a little extra length, light weight, durable, affordable and the cute little bird Logo at the bottom is adorable 5 STARS.

Ce tapis change la vie pour quelqu’un qui a les mains qui transpirent au yoga. J’avais tendance à me crisper souvent en chien tête en bas ou autres positions car mes mails glissent. Je pense qu’il est au même niveau / qualité qu’un liforme! Dommage que la marque ne soit pas connue plus que ça
