I thought these were cute colors for my tennis shoes, but they fray very easily. For example, if your fingernail is sharp or say it's splitting, it will snag in the laces, causing them to fray. I tried cutting most of the frayed stringy bits, but it was futile, as it just kept happening over and over.

The shoe strings themselves look to be of ok quality, but they come as a ridiculous pile and the colors were not anywhere close to the picture shown on Amazon.
