These are great for not only hydroponics but for soil and other types of dry gardening. I noticed the first year, using it a significant difference in the plant growth, and the production of the plant was significantly higher than using other products. I also want to mention this is a lot safer for consumption if you’re growing vegetables or fruits.

This stuff works and, myself and my seven year old daughter, have eaten vegetables I grew using it with a flavor that you cannot tell whether it was store bought or not, from the soil or not! Hydroponics has a learning curve but what is cool about this hydroponic solution is that it dissolves quickly with a little stirring! You can mix several gallons quickly and spend less time waiting for the nutrients to dissolve unlike granular hydroponic solutions. This is important especially if you are tasked with making 5 gallons or more of nutrient solution. You want to just mix it and pour it! I have used this stuff with all phases of vegetable growth following the instructions and have not had ANY issues! It blows my mind to see my vegetables grow and I dont have to water them every day! Also, I have poured the solution at the base of soil grown vegetables with good results... usually because I have left-over solution I don't want to waste! This is how I make 1 gallon of this stuff: 1. One gallon tap water 2. Five ml of each container (flora micro first, flora gro 2nd, then flora bloom last). Shake flora containers before using and shake the gallon jug after adding each flora nutrient to the 1 gallon container. 3. Add 10 ml of 3% "food grade" hydrogen peroxide (you can buy it here on amazon) per gallon. I do this to boost oxygen levels to fight off algae and it helps a bit with mesquites trying to breed in the water if your containers are outside and the container has air holes for ventilation (or just put screens over your holes). 4. Add .75 ml (that is just under one ml) of PH DOWN per 1 gallon... which you can also buy on amazon. 5. Go pour your solution in the primary container holding your plant! Just remember that when your plants get to the stage of fruiting and making actual vegetables, they will suck the solution up like crazy (not to mention natural evaporation if your holding containers are exposed to the sun all the time). You can just add regular tap water the first time the water level drops and evey other time, just add more nutrient solution as you go! Try to avoid letting the water go too low all the way to the bottom of your containers. It stresses your plants! Essentially, you will be adding water then solution on a three day cycle if you monitor it well during the fruiting stages. Overall, this stuff is AMAZING and I LOVE eating my cucumbers and tomatoes I grew and didn't have to buy at a grocery store! Remember, you do not need dozens of plants to feed your family. Just think in terms of "2s"! Feeding one person? Grow two tomato plants, two cucumber plants, etc. Feeding a family of four? Eight plants will give excess! Go sell the extras or give it to neighbors! Oh, this stuff lasts FOREVER too! Knowing this, it is a good idea to consider growing indoors with grow lights and warmth for winter months!

I ran it on both hydroponic and soil setups, and the plants responded noticeably better than plain all-purpose fertilizers. The three-part system (FloraGro, FloraBloom, FloraMicro) lets you dial in ratios through all growth stages — vegetative, transition, and flower/fruiting — so you aren’t stuck with a one-size-fits-all feed that only kind of works. Mixing is simple if you follow the feed chart. I kept EC and pH in range (5.8–6.2) with normal adjustments and had vigorous growth without nutrient lock-ups or deficiencies. Leaf color stayed rich, and buds/fruits were dense and healthy in my hydroponic grow. For anyone serious about performance — whether hydroponic, soil, or coco — this system is robust and flexible. Not magic, but science-based and consistent.

I’ve been using the General Hydroponics FloraSeries nutrient system for several grow cycles now, and overall I’m very satisfied with its performance. What I liked: -Complete 3-Part System: Having FloraMicro, FloraGro, and FloraBloom lets me tailor feeding throughout the plant life cycle — from vegetative growth to flowering. -Consistent Results: My plants have shown healthy vegetative growth and good bloom development when following the recommended ratios. -Ease of Use: The directions are straightforward, and the bottles are easy to pour and measure with. -Versatility: Works well with various hydroponic setups, including NFT, DWC, and ebb-and-flow systems. What could be improved: -Requires Mixing & Monitoring: As a 3-part system, it takes a bit more measuring and planning than a single-bottle nutrient — but that’s typical for serious hydroponic formulas. -pH Adjustment Needed: I still needed to monitor and adjust pH after mixing to hit my target range, which adds a step to the routine. Overall: For anyone doing hydroponics — from beginner to experienced — the FloraSeries offers solid performance and flexibility. It’s a trusted staple that’s helped my plants stay vigorous and productive.

Within 3 days a stunted weed plant started vegetating fairly quickly, I used half a teaspoon or whatever it measured and it did not burn my plant even with some citric acid in it. Make sure you use ph strips and test the runoff water, this is the key!
