The best find this summer. We have been storing our purees, soups in these blocks which are so much more practical than random freezer bags. They are a bit more work than plopping a freezer bag. The shape helps with easy storage and allows for a much better use of freezer space. We have them in two sizes. They are sturdy, and seal well. Very easy to clean if you have any messes whilst filling the bag. It's versatile, and good with smooth purees and with stews/curries with chunks.

Love this item. Can freeze a meal for two servings each. Great for make ahead meals. So easy to use. I Wii ne definitely getting a few more.

So I bought these at the same time I purchased some of the multi pocket silicon freezer containers. I am tired of malformed and hard to handle/stack zip lock bags of food in the freezer. The multi pocket silicon freezer containers are working great. This on the other hand does work and I like that it uses zip-locks bags. However it is harder to get your zip-lock full of frozen food out unless you just totally dissemble it. It is also messier to fill than the silicon ones. the rubber bands are very strong which is good in one way but, makes it a little hard to get off the clam shell unit. I think it wont be as durable with it being a hard plastic, im tempted to predict that if you drop it as you pull it out of the freezer that it will eventually crack. almost all plastic containers I have used in freezer end up shattering when the fall on the floor while hard frozen. Also the custom rubber band is going to be a consumable and eventually get lost or break. On the good side though it wouldn't be as nice or built to purpose as the rubber band that comes with it you could easily improvise and just use heavy duty rubber bands you purchase at an office supply store or wal-mart. I don't plan on purchasing any more of these unless in using it over time I decide that the it works better for me than it has so far.

These work very well for freezing bags of foods; soups, beans, sauces, etc. I don't even take the bands off but just lift out the bag of food. They are easy to use and seem durable. The help organize food in the freezer due to their uniform shape - easy stacking or lining up product; saves space and makes the product easy to locate in the freezer.

Loved them. Going to save so much freezer space I’ve used them for milk, spaghetti sauce, small amounts of leftover ice cream, and while I haven’t tried them yet I think the large ones are going to work well also. These are just great for one or two servings.

The YouCopia FreezeUp Freezer Food Block Maker works okay overall. I really like that it helps freeze food in a neat, uniform block—great for stacking and saving space in the freezer. The concept is solid and definitely useful for meal prep. Also quite easy to clean. That said, the elastic bands don’t inspire much confidence. They feel like they may not hold up long-term, and the overall construction comes across a bit cheap. You can achieve the same flat block effect using simpler methods, so it’s not a must-have. Still, for the price point, it’s a decent tool and I’d recommend it with some reservations.

These youCopia Block Makers are fabulous. You can freeze you food and store in perfect blocks making more room and easy to identify what is in your freezer. This is second order!

I don’t cook on a daily basis, but when I do, I try to make at least four servings or more. These work perfect and they stack so well in my freezer. I recommend them to anyone.

When I froze stock/bone broth in plastic containers, I always had to leave lots of room at the top so the expanding liquid didn't push the lids off. So my freezer was full of, perhaps, 2/3 full plastic containers. With these products I can freeze the same amount in a plastic bag, pull them out of the containers and put them in the freezer with far less space. Very easy to clean and store. I ordered a second set. Brilliant.

Does what it says, BUT I really wish the rubber bands were less tight and easier to put back on. They're really difficult to pull apart and put back on the tiny loop/knobs on the plastic container. Used once and it's been such a struggle getting them back on, it's just been sitting on the counter... Durable build and easy to clean though.
