Are these brushes safe to use on paint?

Only the 6 boar's hair bristle brushes can be used on paint. Before using them on paint though, lather up the brushes with soap and spray the paint with soapy water to prevent swirl marks.

What are the wire brushes used for?

For any carpeting in the vehicle. You brush it so the dirt is agitated and easier to get out of the carpet

the 6 dark ones are boar's hair. the brushes with the microfiber for a/c vent cleaning..... on their opposite ends are soft nylon/plastic.
