Will this work with Brother SE-400?

Yes it works with all brother machines. I use it on my vm5100 my x5550 and a friend uses it on the se 400 and it fits a Babylock decorators choice.

I am not sure. I returned the item as it appears to be a brother product but is not. I ordered an actual brother walking foot. I did not want to chance damaging my machine.

Not positive but it mentions Brother in general. I would judy buy it and return if no fit. It is a great attachment

Does the job perfectly well

Works perfectly fine on my Toyota Jeans machine. As someone else said, if needed you can press the sides tighter so the walking foot doesn't come apart. It didn't come apart for me yet but I tightened it anyway.

Flimsy and goes off shape quickly

Fitted to my Brother machine, but flimsy made, with lots of plastic. Within a week of actually using it went off shape and needles started to get caught on it and get broken. Waste of money

Excellent Product!

I hated this product initially, but I realized I had it installed incorrectly after making an entire quilt. 😂 Oops! After I put it on the right way, I absolutely loved it! It makes quilting straight lines so much easier! Definitely recommend!
