How do play music loaded in the headset?

After you’ve loaded the music, you turn it on, then click the power button 2 times quickly. You’ll hear “music” announced.

As near as I can tell, there's no way to "shuffle/random play" music. I have a bit more than 2000 songs loaded on the headset & my experience is that they play in alphabetical order by ARTIST, NOT song title. Further, it seems to pick up where you left off: i.e., yesterday I was listening to all the songs by .38 Special, America, etc., but today when I powered up it started with Bonnie Raitt, Boston, etc. If you REALLY want shuffle/random play, I'd suggest using the Bluetooth feature & a separate Bluetooth MP3 player. Personally, the MAIN reason I decided to give this set a try is because I really wanted an "all-in-one" player instead of two separate pieces of electronics.

Will this work for swimming ?

No, there are not really waterproof. Good for biking under rain, but not for swimming. You have to upgrade to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2MH7MQS. Note: bluetooth doesn't work under water. So it will cut off sound (in bluetooth mode) when under water. So when you swim fast and too much water goes behind you head and submerge the entire headphone it will cut off. For underwater function, only MP3 mode works. You just have to load 16MN worth of MP3 in the headset.

If you do not want to download music for swimming, can you use the Bluetooth connected to your phone to listen to playlists?

No. Bluetooth does not work underwater, so unless you can swim with your head completely out of water it will not work.
