Quality is great!
My 14yo is interested in car mechanics so we got this for him as a Christmas present. It took him a while to put together but he did it completely on his own. He's even taken parts off and put them back on afterwards. I think he's really proud of himself for being able to do this project. It's expensive but the product is great quality. Very happy with this purchase!

Missing Parts
Hello- I love the kit and I think the quality is great. Unfortunately, it's missing two parts. 1) #40 and the coupler on the generator (part #23) was broke so I cannot fix #50 to it. If we can get this resolved I will happily change this review to 5 stars.Thanks

Awesome detail! Great quality.
This is an amazingly accurate metal model of a V8 engine. The quality of the machining and fasteners is excellent. The directions are a little vague, but anyone who knows how a real V8 is put together will have no trouble. Also, there is an excellent video online. It is an excellent instructional tool.

Took me about 4 hours to build
This is actually a great model. It’s not too difficult but it is time consuming because it’s a V8 so lots of repetitive assembly initially before the interesting stuff - timing chains, camshafts, etc. I’ve been around engines most of my life and this is a good and accurate rep of a V8. Use the grease supplied liberally because it takes a lot to crank it.

Absolute Fantastic!!!!!
I was so scared this to be a scam. But it's not, it's what's been promised. The price tag is on the higher end for sure, but looking at the material and the quality, it's totally worth it.
