This is a great small cutting board for cheese and crackers! It measures 6.5" in diameter and is perfect for those small snacks. Should one side become marred, just turn it over and use the other side. These cutting boards are made of several types of wood. The middle is highly figured maple. The very dark wood is walnut. There are two kinds of reddish wood: cherry and mahogany (only the medium square cutting board has mahogany), then figured maple. They are food safe, being coated with mineral oil.Should you use them for food, just wipe them off with a damp cloth or sponge and dry. Coat every month or so with mineral oil to preserve. Please do not submerge them in water.
